Assetto Corsa Competizione | US Tracks DLC Release Date Confirmed

ACC Land of the Free DLC Release Date.jpg
The first trailer for the upcoming Land of the Free DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione has been released, and it confirms that the track pack will be available on June 30th, 2022.

PC players have just over two weeks to wait until they can get their hands on the upcoming Land of the Free DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione. Kunos and 505 Games have confirmed that the new DLC featuring American circuits will be released on the last day of June, 2022.

A tweet published by the Kunos team showed some quick clips from Circuit of the Americas, Watkins Glen and Indianapolis. No confirmation has yet been given on whether this is all of the tracks that will ever be included in the DLC, or if more American tracks will be added.

We first learned about the new tracks with a few fleeting frames in a teaser video that Kunos published late last year as a keynote presentation which accompanied the version 1.8 update for PC. In typical Kunos fashion, the developer has been tight-lipped about the DLC since.

Console players should not hold their breath for a release on PlayStation and Xbox at the same time. The Gen 9 console port that PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players were understandably excited about has been slower to incorporate updates applied to the PC version or DLC packs than players had hoped. 505 has published several statements on the matter, but all signs point to the Gen 9 versions lagging behind the PC version until late 2022.

The Land of the Free American track pack could potentially be the last content we see for Assetto Corsa Competizione, as many expect the Kunos team to shift their focus to Assetto Corsa 2.

Does the new DLC pack look like something you would be interesting in playing? What other American tracks would you like to see added? Let us know in the comments below.

Kunos just posted a preview of the Glen on Twitter. So, one track per day until Thursday would mean seven tracks, right? :D

I like the American tracks a lot but Cota and Indianapolis are not my favorites. Maybe there are more to come, Sebring, Road Atlanta, Road America or Virginia.......that would be a real blast.
Agreed, Cota & Indianapolis are too much like the rest of the Tilke designed F1 circuits. Far more character in the other tracks you mentioned. If they are a part of the SRO calendar, I would support any of those.

Thanks for the heads up, Watkins Glen is definitely the one that stands out amongst the trio and looks every bit as good as I'd expect from Kunos' artists. Guess this confirms there'll be no liveries with it too

And glad to find out it's not called 'The Land of the Free' after today, but 'American Track Pack'...
again, just a marketing ploy taking the last two stanzas from the Nat. Anthem.

Aris (Kunos) about the US Tracks DLC:
Well, judging from what was said, it appears we will only be getting 3 of the 7 tracks on the GTWC America calendar.

As I said before, I'm really hoping this is just release one of two for the North American tracks. I really don't understand the point of releasing only half the schedule and, from an SRO standpoint, you would think they would want a full release.

GTWC America's popularity pales in comparison to IMSA , here in NA. Yes, I know, IMSA is a different beast but sports car racing hasn't seen this much interest in NA since the 80's. I would think SRO would want to capitalize on that growing popularity, especially seeing as GTWC America is generally over looked here. What better way to get the younger generation interested than to have the series in a video game that is available on both consoles?

Yes, it’s a little disappointing, especially since the two tracks I was really looking forward to, Road America and Sebring, are not in it.

Let’s hope they will eventually be included in another pack.

Images of COTA are now on Twitter. And these are the only three tracks in the pack. No Road A or Sebring this time…

This may be off topic, but Reiza discreetly released three *free* tracks for AMS2 in the new open beta version of the sim. It’s an « Argentinian » track pack (Buenos Aires, Cordoba and Termas de Rio Hondo). What is really cool is that these tracks aren’t available officially in any other sim, as far as I know. (Maybe in AMS 1?)

AMS1 has Buenos Aires & Cordoba, MotoGP games have Termas de Rio Hondo.

Now I'm wondering how much they actually benefited from being the official SRO game, if they can't even release what's under the SRO. So what's the point?! Seriously, only 3 american tracks and it's probably the last ACC dlc.

Is it official that this one will be the latest official content for ACC? Nobody said that.
What if this DLC is not the last one, and since making tracks takes time, they are thinking about another DLC with tracks or maybe 2 DLCs?
Let's wait and see if Kunos is going to announce something else, alfter this DLC. ;)

Rio Hondo is new, but Buenos Aires and Cordoba are base content in Automobilista 1 and Game Stock Car Extreme, before that :)
