Great ffb I'm using a T500 it just needs the engine vibration turned off as kraM1t says in his post, I leave the damper and spring set to 100 in the TM control panel and works great thanks Hugo

0.01 in this case! You can absolutely leave damping to 100% if such is thy desire. However, it feels sharper without it so I opted out.

Fun fact: I enjoy other games like Dirt Rally a lot more with 0 damping!

Hugo, congratulations! You’ve managed to completely reinvent PC 2...for the better. What a terrific mod!! One suggestion. I almost missed this. I have an AccuForce DD wheel and I didn’t realize this would be applicable. Mike at SimRacing 604 has an AccuForce and loved it. So I went back downloaded and it just works so incredibly well with my DD wheel. Make a mention of this in the support section so other DD owners can take advantage of your great work.
Now for the imports part. Where can I donate on PayPal? I’d love to buy you a couple of beers! Thanks again

These files are vastly better than whats included in the game, I would of given it 5 stars but what's with the engine vibration? It's constant and actually ruins the good work you did at conveying what the tyres/suspension geometry is doing.

I'm using the "Smoother" file, but to anyone reading this, if you're annoyed with this constant fake vibration (it hides road surface texture too) go into the file and change this

# Engine ---------------------------------------------
(engine_vibration 20)
(engine_vibration_while_driving 20)

to this

# Engine ---------------------------------------------
(engine_vibration 0.01)
(engine_vibration_while_driving 0.01)

Now it feels like a blend of Assetto Corsa and rFactor 2 FFB, but still just not quite eclipsing both.

''Fake'' engine vibrations? as far as I am concerned every effect is fake on a game... however engine vibrations are as real as tire flex in real life driving. Of course, it differs from one car to another but a small amount adds a layer of immersion I love in VR when you start the engine or stall. On a trustmaster TX it feels great and it doesn't affect negatively the other effects since I also readjusted every effect a bit higher to compensate for the engine vibrations. I know every wheel will translate this effect differently that's why I mention in the overview that you can adjust them. And like you say 0.01 is as good as OFF, so you can really do what you actually think feels better for you... so overall the effect should benefit anyone and this is why I added it.

Fanatec CSW 2.5: Very nice with some Fanatec updating.....Make sure you have the latest firmware with the FEI setting (I set to 20) or else this will be very harsh. Engine at stop and running adjusted to 01 (dont remove or set to 0 or wheel will rotate hard to full lock)

I was configuring my G920 yesterday and having problems with clipping, had to take the weight off almost completely. Created an account to download this and man... Weight to the max and ZERO clipping. Great config.

This is the best FFB file for pcars2. Make sure you move volume from 30 to 60 depending on the car.
The only thing i dont like is that the kerb effects are too high, even after lowering FX to 0

Thanks for the feedback and review. Try this. In the file find this line: (road_scale (* 0.0006 1.0))

Then try something like this (road_scale (* 0.00045 1.0))

that should do it

Thanks for the review. i suppose 1080 is better. Some cars in PC2 might go over 900. With this FFB you'll notice a stop lock at the max range depending on the steering ration in your tuning. this is the best way to go. Speed sensitivity 0, no damping or deadzone will help. In the TM panel bump force to 100 and the rest is good. The volume in game should allow you to adjust the feeling perfectly per car.

This is a noticable improvement for me, over what I already had, thankyou. But I'm confused that you seem to refer to 2 or more files (Low EV / Mid EV) when the is only the one .txt file in the download?

That is for the last version, it is simpler if you adjust the engine vibration to your tastes

T300 user. This is wonderful work. This really takes the FFB to a new level. Lotus 98T? No problem. I can correct full throttle on low speed corner exits now because I can feel exactly what's happening. This custom FFB feels closer to Race Room IMO which is a wonderful thing.

Side note: Do you know if a gear shift "thunk" FFB effect can be added?

Thanks, there is probably something to do playing with the gearbox values, there are a few, one of them is probably the that.

Works well with the G920. All I did was transfer my particular DZ, Scoop, and lowered the Eng Vibe to 5. Actually feels smoother than before, and can use more of a balance between the Mx and Fy.
