S K Y ppfilters are made to fully utilize AC's graphical fidelity to provide realistic and experimental visuals with an added touch of the sky lighting the environment, hence why called S K Y. The objective is to evoke a sense the environment is lit by an actual sky. To do so is to use light bounces, vao-patches, realistic materials: any high quality mods that pushes the limits of the game will bode very well with the PPFilters.
S K Y is an experimental, natural and cinematic PPfilter that adds that touch of the sky. Special thanks to CIBA, creator of C13 Camera Obscura for allowing the use of its script for S K Y
S K Y G T for Pure takes inspiration from the Gran Turismo franchise to achieve visuals with natural lighting, colors and post-processing effects.
S K Y D C for Pure takes inspiration from DRIVECLUB to achieve visuals with hyper-realistic lighting, cinematic colors and post-processing effects. You can find D C on our Patreon
Please note it is by no means a perfect setting!
There's always some compromises to be made: some parts will be too dark, too bright; there's too much bloom, too much color; sky is too white; graphics card is about to explode; etc. No matter how well you manipulate rasterized renderings, some lighting/shading effects will still look fake and bad. All I can say is, adjust to your liking.
