Doesn't work, i've downloaded it and also applied the settings through the links and they simply do not work. it also changes all ur csp settings.
I've been trying it for a couple of days and it's one of the few that doesn't move too much.
Good job!
The only thing I don't really like is the up/down movement of the head during an up/down climb, what setting should I change? I've already done some tests but without success
Whooahh! For the first few minutes it's strange, like being on a boat, but then.... the brain gets used to it and the spirit takes over! Brutal immersion and a sense of speed. Previously boring or slow cars come to life, you can't stop playing. Game changer. You're a genius dude! Thanks a lot!
Incredible, same sensations as in GTR2 now, total immersion :)))) I also added the look to apex and it's wonderful, it's a different game now, even if it adds a lot of difficulty by taking us out of our comfort zone, it's well worth it! Neck FX setup is a real jungle for many of us and you are opening up a path through it. Well done and thank you very much. Respect for your perseverance.
The settings for race cars and road cars are awesome! I really think they are the best I've tried so far! I'm continuing to experiment with more cars but so far so great! I think you have done a great job! thx
Just incredible immersion, where is my belt ;)
Really immersive but had to turn it off because it gave me motion sickness :(
Perfect!
Amazing job, so immersive
First 2 laps I was... eeeh I cannot see a thing I don't like it. 5 laps later, I was asking myself how I was driving all these hours without the head moving like this ! I love it !!

Thank you very much for this.
loving it!!!!! how do I donate???

Hey man, thank you so much! I didn't really consider it but I've added a donation button to the mod page now. Glad you're enjoying the G's.
Thanks for this. I really love now the G-Forces look's like. The acceleration, braking, the uneven road changes... all now have a different meaning giving a lot of immersion and realism while driving.

But those settings was a bit too much for me. So, i was playing around with "tilt with X G-force" and "tilt with Z G-force" and came up with subtler settings that preserves the immersion and the realism as long as find out a very subtle settings in direction alignment in velocity, steering and look ahead effect gain, didn't affect much the overall feeling.

Very good job m8!
Hi, I've downloaded your sourche adn I'm setting mi CM manually to not lost other paramethers.
One question, my Cm do not permit to me to change "velocitiy filtering speed" (you have it on 15%, mine is 5%), how about this change? How I can unlock it?
Thanks for all! :)

Hey, thanks for trying it out. The velocity filtering speed is inactive, changing that does nothing in these settings. Only the settings under "G-forces influence". The only other setting that is active is the "Tilt with G-forces" where you set a percentage for x and z axis a bit further up.
Thanks for taking the time to make this! A while ago I tried to play around with the Neck FX page and gave up because I couldn't get the right settings going.

Once I got used to it over a few laps judging my speed and grip became really intuitive and enjoyable. Outside of VR you can only really rely on force feedback and tire sound, plus experience with the car, and maybe a g-meter app. I spent about six hours hotlapping with various road and GT cars and, driving on the edge, I made way less mistakes than I normally do. I drove with the UI hidden most of the time (unless I wanted to check on tires or laptimes) and the difference in immersion and sense of speed is significant.

The only real issue is with Content Manager. Importing the settings doesn't just overwrite the Neck FX settings, but all CSP settings (which were returned to default). I don't mind going through all of my settings to get them back to where I want to but it's something to keep in mind. Maybe providing a screenshot of the settings in the mod description in addition to the settings file itself would be a good idea.

Damn, I wasn't aware it did that. I thought it was just for the Neck FX. I'm adding a disclaimer to the text.

I know there's an option to get a link for the settings, but I'm not able to post it in the description. Maybe I can put the link in a .txt file in the zip.

Thanks for the 5 stars! I 100% agree with you in that you make a lot less mistakes. Feels like crashing will be a lot more detrimental in a way. And accelerating is a thrill, feels dangerous. Straights aren't just a pause anymore, I'm kind of looking forward to the acceleration and the little head tilt backwards.

I'm working on a new setting for road cars. I did a couple of laps in the '93 Audi RS2, and it was actually fun to do a whole lap around the schleife in it. But I'll look for ways to only install the Neck FX settings.
I tried this not expecting much but after driving a bit this is definitely one of my favorite mods for assetto corsa!! I never really gave neckfx much of a thought but when I saw this mod I wanted to give it a go. This mod makes driving so much more immersive as it gives another layer to the driving with g forces. Being able to actually see the effect turns have on your vision with the neck turning as you go around the corner and your head fall forward with breaking makes the cars feel so much more alive. Some corners are harder to get right with the camera moving around so it may not be ideal for players who want absolute perfect laps but for players who care more about an immersive experience this may be perfect! Now I think many people may have different perspectives on how the head should move so the default settings are not for everyone but with some tweaking you can make it how you want. I am not quite sure how to reduce vibrations though. Overall this mod has added a lot more life to driving which has increased the amount of fun I have with assetto corsa!

That's great to hear, it honestly makes me happy to hear that these settings have improved the experience for other AC-ers as well.

You could maybe check the "High speed shaking" in Settings > Assetto Corsa > View & UI. I messed around with those settings a long time ago, and I couldn't understand why everything was shaking no matter what I did with Neck FX. Turned out I had High speed shaking on 200%.

If that's already at 100%, you could try to lower the "Fast response multiplier" second value (y-value for up and down) towards zero, as that's the body bounce setting.

If that's not it either, you could up the "Fast response fading lag" to 85% or higher. The default value there is 98%, it just overall slows down body movements a bit.

Let me know what you figure out!
Really good settings ! Just some little changes, for example the G forces head when i turn left or right is too high for me

Thanks! I'd suggest decreasing the first value in "Slow response gain" towards zero with 0.1 increments then.

I find it depends on the car often. Ferrari LaFerrari is for example really quite subtle with these settings, while, say, the F40 is much more intense. I've tried some GT3 cars where one seems totally stiff while in the the other the head was just bouncing around. Do you remember what car(s) you tested with?
