This made AC like being a complete new game, got the game for years and just recently explored this "mod". Amazing 10/5 ;)

Thanks for the 10/5 rating :D Happy to see that even after years of getting used to something else, my little lut make for a positive change :)
Very very good way of getting a real strong ffb without buying a new wheel !

Thanks for your work because I’m sure it took you so much time to get there :)

I’m using it on ACC because it feels right in every car, in AC there is so many mods that it’s difficult to get it right everytime…

One question though : is it possible to have the same wheel angle on screen ? Because I can see that the wheel is not turning the same way my G29 turns, don’t know if it’s normal…

Thanks anyway !

Thanks for the review! Yeah it took some time hehe, but it was so worth it! Great that you enjoy it too!
The angle should match, normally.. Do you have 900° both in the logitech software and in ACC? Then it should match... Depending on your seating position and the cockpit settings, you might need to set ACC to 870° or so to make it feel perfectly natural. If you need further help, post your settings (with Screenshots if possible) in the "discussion" of this download.
I am new to sim racing so I might not be using the correct terminology (I used the recommended LUT and applied it properly) in general, it feels really good on my G29, however, when I am accelerating down straights, the FFB kicks in quite aggressively. Is this normal? Also, when I brake sharply, the FFB really kicks in and it can be distracting and very noisy. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for the review :) I think what you feel are the SLIP and ABS effects. I like them at about 23% but they are definitely rattling a lot. Every time you get wheelspin or lock up or the abs becomes active, your wheel will rattle. It's not ffb from the physics, it's just an effect so you know what's going on with the car. Simply lower the slip and abs sliders and see if it's better.
If not, post in the support thread and I'll help you :)
This made my aging Logitech GT so much better. I can now handle corners with ease, contrary to the stock setting (that was way too heavy). The Lut you created works perfectly. Really glad you went through the trouble of adding files for the very old but common DFGT, which precedes the G25 series. The DFGT works great in Automobilista2 even with the included settings but AC includes no such defaults. Way to extend a great game's life as well as those aging wheels.
PS: In the event you plan to create the same improvements for ACC and AMS2, I'm all ears. Cheers

Thanks for the nice review! :) I made the DFGT because a real life friend bought one and ofc. I couldn't let him drive without my "anti-deadzone"-LUT. So I was able to test it myself, until I was happy and then upload it. AMS 2 has a nice "low force boost", which works a lot better as the simple minimum force setting of AC and ACC. I totally agree with that. Sadly AMS 2 doesn't has the possibility to use a LUT. But ACC does! You can simply throw the two files from my download folder into this folder: \\Documents\Assetto Corsa Competizione\Config
You won't see if it's "on", but you will feel it. There's also a Steam Guide, just google for ACC LUT Steam and you should find it :)
My recommendations: Gain = 100% ; Min Force = 0% ; Damper = 0% ; Dynamic Damping = 0% ; Road Effects = 0-20% ; Frequency = default.
Steer Lock = 900° ; Linearity = 1.00 ; Brake Gamma to your liking ; Gearshift Debouncing = 50 ms (default).
Thank you for your work! Everything works great!

A must have if you have a G29, have been using it for years!

Thanks for the kind review! :)
Nice great job, i have 1 questions on point 6 logitech profilers, i dont understand, the option "overall, spring and damper" do i have to change this options on LG Hub?
RasmusP
RasmusP
Hi, thanks for the stars :)
With G Hub, you don't have these settings and don't need to change them either. It's for the older wheels that used the "profiler" instead of G Hub. Afaik, they are always at 100%, so just like I'd recommend them :)
Wow, this is really great! I can now feel the wheels sliding and take action. Helps my abysmal driving skills! :)
Thank you!!

RasmusP
Hehe, glad it helps :) thanks for the kind words!
This is a must for everyone having a G27 / G29, really appreciate the hard effort the community is putting to do these. Thanks Rasmus.

Thanks for this review! Always makes my day. I really did it for my own but it's so great to see that it's working for lots of other people :)
You are a legend :) I haven't played Assetto since the beginning of the year due to the settings and feed back. Came across this last night and gave it a go. Feels like a dream.
5 big stars for you buddy.

RasmusP
Wow, thanks man! :O
this is simply AWESOME! i use the recommended one but with 80% ingame ffb, a complete game changer!!! looks a got myself a new wheel!
RasmusP
RasmusP
Hehe, thanks for calling it AWESOME (there's a German poetry slam video where AWESOME is the most used word, lol).
80% seems a bit much but as long as it feels good for you, I'm happy that you're having fun :)
Why can't I give 6 or even 10 stars? This is a game changer, believe me. From a "sloppy" G29 to a really firm, realistic feeling on track. Much appreciated! You should be at least get a large paycheck from Logitech!
Used the "no clip but stronger" FFB LUT file. This alone can save you from buying a new, much more expensive racing wheel because you think (!) your Logitech G29/920 was not good enough.

Thanks a lot mate! Always makes my day when I hear someone enjoys driving more with what I created :) I wish Logitech would implement a LUT or some similar settings into their software!
I have heard good things about this LUT set-up for the Logitech G27 so I thought I would check it out. I just want to make sure before I make changes that this is still good with the current version of ACC, yes?
RasmusP
RasmusP
Yep, it has nothing to do with the game version. You could also use it for other games if they allow a LUT file. My LUTs only change the first 20% of the ffb. It's like a better minimum force.
Thanks a lot! First day with a newly bought G27 and the game is transformed. SO GOOD :)

Thanks for the review! Great to see it's still making other people happy :)
Never have to worrie again about FFB, thanks to this guide - very helpful - quality work!
