This is a must for everyone having a G27 / G29, really appreciate the hard effort the community is putting to do these. Thanks Rasmus.

Thanks for this review! Always makes my day. I really did it for my own but it's so great to see that it's working for lots of other people :)
thank you so much

No problem, thanks for the stars! :)
You are a legend :) I haven't played Assetto since the beginning of the year due to the settings and feed back. Came across this last night and gave it a go. Feels like a dream.
5 big stars for you buddy.

Wow, thanks man! :O
this is simply AWESOME! i use the recommended one but with 80% ingame ffb, a complete game changer!!! looks a got myself a new wheel!

RasmusP
Hehe, thanks for calling it AWESOME (there's a German poetry slam video where AWESOME is the most used word, lol).
80% seems a bit much but as long as it feels good for you, I'm happy that you're having fun :)
Why can't I give 6 or even 10 stars? This is a game changer, believe me. From a "sloppy" G29 to a really firm, realistic feeling on track. Much appreciated! You should be at least get a large paycheck from Logitech!
Used the "no clip but stronger" FFB LUT file. This alone can save you from buying a new, much more expensive racing wheel because you think (!) your Logitech G29/920 was not good enough.

Thanks a lot mate! Always makes my day when I hear someone enjoys driving more with what I created :) I wish Logitech would implement a LUT or some similar settings into their software!
I have heard good things about this LUT set-up for the Logitech G27 so I thought I would check it out. I just want to make sure before I make changes that this is still good with the current version of ACC, yes?
RasmusP

Yep, it has nothing to do with the game version. You could also use it for other games if they allow a LUT file. My LUTs only change the first 20% of the ffb. It's like a better minimum force.
Thanks a lot! First day with a newly bought G27 and the game is transformed. SO GOOD :)

Thanks for the review! Great to see it's still making other people happy :)
It really helped me ! ( I have a g29 )

Thanks man! :)
Good tutrorial with a lot of info. Although I think everyone should generate his own LUT because every wheel is different (especially Logiteh) .

Does anyone know what exastly DAMPER_GAIN does in assetto_corsa.ini?

I spent some time looking for explanation, and just found different values recommended (usually 0.0 or 1.0) ?
In comments it says it should be changed to 0 for G920, but how about G27/G29 for instance since it's FFB is so simmilar?

Also while most people recommend Damper Effects strenth to 0 in Logitech Profiler some say it's better to set it to 70-100%?

The damper only affects the generic resistance while the low speed ffb kicks in so you'll have the feeling of scrubbing tyres like on a real car.
I like to have this light wheel though as I only do online racing and it makes life a bit easier to be able to spin the wheel freely while being in the pits/start/after spin. Just put it to whatever you want really :)

To the own LUT: I agree and disagree at the same time. Until today no one with a logitech wheel had to adjust my luts. The overall specs are really similar no matter the wear.
Did you try my LUT and if you adjusted something: please share the info in the support thread with your LUT :)
Im using the superstronglut because i do have a 35 cm steering wheel. And I cant tell you how much of a good difference it made, the car actually felt nice to drive! Although one problem that i have is that when im driving straight the steering wheel turns left and right really fast. Other than that its pretty good!
Good job. Gamma works well, I like it. Others are very good starting point. Might be differences of wheels or mine might be bit worn out but Tight Center is way too harsh for my wheel(I'm poor, don't wanna break it more that it is already), so I had to do minor adjustments. Normalcenter is ever so slightly numb, which might again be my wheel. Didn't test DFGT.
Meh. Didn't fell like a huge improvement from my previous settings. I'm using a G29. The wheel now feels dead when driving on a straight line, theres no feedback whatsoever from the road bumps, and theres no resistance to turn the wheel when the car is stopped. Also it feels extremely light when driving racecars, which I don't like. It was easier to tell where was the threshold of grip on road cars. But I preferred my old settings so I'll revert back.

If you like, make a post in the support area. It reads like there was something not quite right with your settings. I created this to give me a tight and alive feel at the center. So the opposite of what you're reporting.
The lack of resistance while standing still doesn't come from the lut. Just raise the "damper" slider in the logitech panel and put "damper gain" back up to whatever you like :)
Overall good update but I'm facing a small issue with superstrong 100LUT in a straight line wheel is losing force feedback I mean it feels numb for a few sec then ffb restores.
i couldn't steer for crap, the cars where way too responsive mking any speed over 35 a challenge, and this fixed that, however now the ffb shakes 24/7 and it tries to tear my hand off
