Smaller update focused on a misc edit to the dashboard. Now the dashboard will light up in a true to life orange/red-ish color. Same deal with buttons present on the dashboard.

There is still some work needed to be done on the dashboard, namely in the radio area. This requires a bit more tinkering around to be done propery and it should be done whenever the next update drops :) Im also considering some physics changes to the Touge and Wangan version of the cars. Now that i have a wheel to properly test them i can finetune them to be even nicer to drive.
Follow up to the previous update. Focus was put on the setup screen and the inner workings of the mod. Thanks to the feedback:
  • The weight was set properly and should not cause any more errors in CM. It is now exactly the same as in real life.
  • Automatic upshifting should be working now. I just dont know how well will it perform in a track setting.
  • Stock and Poldoroku variants no longer will have Toe and Camber setting on the rear wheels. This change was made to be more in line with how the real car functions. Its a really rudimentary suspension in the rear and as such such settings are simply not possible irl. Im still consulting these changes in regards to the other tunes. Its still up for debate whether it will stay that way or no.
I have also Fixed a gap in the model on the Wangan version tied to the wider tyres.

I am also looking into the way the car handles. Might have some changes for the Touge version but for now its just a concept and requires some testing. It might not even see the light of the day.

The final one goes to all the people that downloaded, reviewed and discussed the issues with the mod. Thank you for Your feedback and such warm reception. I did not expect the mod to catch on like it did. It really means a lot to me :) I would not be able to troubleshoot all the issues with this mod all by myself and your feedback really shines a spotlight into the issues this car was struggling from the getgo. Im looking into every comment and review meaning that if you post any issue you had with the car i will most certainly look into it and try to fix it the best to my abilities. Once again, THANK YOU :inlove:

This update focuses mostly on the Wangan version. I was not aware of the terrible terrible and ultimately unpredictable handling that the car had initially. Now the Wangan should be more in line to your standard SRP car experience. The 1.3 bar of turbo brought up the engine up to roughly 750hp. The suspension should also be softer. Rear differential was fixed too, the car can now properly slide around some low and high speed corners. V-max went up to 360 km/h.

Other fixes boil down to the setup screen.
  • The rebound settings were fixed as rear left wheel would only go up as high as to the setting of "7" out of 12. This oversight seemed to be present from the original release of the mod.
  • Now all versions have the option to set the camber on the rear wheels.
  • The traction control on Touge and Wangan was removed
  • Wangan version also got a cockpit adjustable turbo. Press 0 for ultimate fun ;)

In terms of interior work there was not much that changed from the 1.4 version as im slowly approaching the limits of what can be implemented to such a rudimentary dashboard.
  • The RPM gauge needle now got some inertia and lag to its movement. It looks much more natural and it was an oversight on my part from the dashboard development days as the speedo had this feature from the very beginning.
  • There was also some changes made to the clock
The update focuses mostly on the interior features of the car.

Previously retextured radio was moved to the Extra toggle and it is now independent from the headlights.

Switches on the dashboard got some love too. Now they properly light up whenever the headlights are on.

The other neat thing in the interior is a fully functional dome light (at last :D) . Pressing the Extra B bind will now light up the interior of the car, give it a nice and cozy feeling.

Other fixes included new previews for some of the variants and fixes to the bolt on fenders on the Wangan version. Those should now be identical color to the plastic bumpers. All cars should also have properly working foglights as it seemed to be broken in the 1.3 release of the mod.
