what an amazing track!
core i5 8400 16gb 2666 ddr4 rtx 2080 samsung odyssey
rolled right now with 32 pilots with ai, there was not enough optimization a little bit, the frame time was lame a little. but still playable. I really liked the track with amazing elevations. and when there are 20 pilots or less on the track, everything is super 90 fps and the frame time is excellent. I'm waiting for updates. thanks for the track!
This I like a lot fast twisty banking.
Thanks for all the hard work an time you put into this.
This one doesn't get enough attention. What a great track. Elevation, flow, detail... just great. Works well with everything from vintage to GT3.

A slightly different track from what we are used to, with beautiful scenery, fun with its curves and elevation changes, well built... What more could you ask for? Well, that the cones were movable, but that's minutiae...

Thanks for sharing.
The last update mad it even more excellent. A mini Norschleife. Great job!
Just did a quick drive and object inspector in the newest shaders patch: You didn't combine your trees into one object. Each tree is an individual object. Hence you are experiencing lower fps. You have to go section by section on the track and combine the trees into one object. For example, at the starting line, combine all the trees in the first 50 yards into one object. Now AC will render all those trees as one object. Second way to further optimize a track in AC is to do multiple .kn5 files. You have a model.ini file but you only have one .kn5 file. For example, select all the trees, delete everything else. Export and finish the trees in kseditor. Save name like Pinewood Trees. Next, do the road by it self. Save as like Pinewood Road, etc. Then in the model.ini you can add the all the layers together. AC will render the layers differently. There should be a guide on google search. This is just quick explanation. Don't forget to back up your files so that you can do different experimentation later.

I know about combining objects, and about loading multiple .kn5s. I do that for grass which I still don't have and takes at least 1 000 000 polys. 3D trees are one thing that has to be separate for engine to render them correctly. AC takes the vertices into account and draws the shading of each individual 3D tree, that's why you see the bottom and shadow side of them darker in direct sunlight. If I combine 3D trees into one, it will be just one flat slab, just like treelines.
Insanely fun track, racing with GT3 and faster cars is honestly scary when going full attack. Really hope to see this track progress it truly tests your limits as a driver!
Really nice flow, and very exciting to drive on with the elevation, twists and turns. Very visually pleasing.
Fantastic work!

Excellent track, really good fun! Although there was a slight mishap during my race. A Lister Storm was chasing me hard, but suddenly he wasn't in my rearview mirror anymore, so I checked the replay to find out why.... https://youtu.be/I-KDxDiCdLk

Heh, used to happen in OSTH circuit too, at first chicane. Probably will have to put invisible roof over there.
I was inspired to open a second Youtube channel only about AC. And Pinewood is really great, the flow of the track makes it really nice, here is a video of Pinewood with CSP+SOL+RainFX, the track is great: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOpCZAmhP-M&t=185s
now i'm very new to assetto corsa but, this is quite possibly the best track i've played so far, the whole time i thought "oh wow i love stuff like this!" this track is better than most real tracks i've driven in this game, keep up the good work!
Raced on this track once so far, will race on it many more times, love the track well put together, I will be encouraging my other racing friends to do the same well done.
Gran Muchas Gracias =)
I apologize, but I don't know English. So I use the Goolge translator. I recorded a video where is recorded the CPU usage, GPU and memory. The FPS are in the upper left corner. My processor is an AMD 7 2700 3.2 GHZ. 16 GB RAM memory. 1070 ti video card. I hope the video can help you. The FPS found it very low compared to other tracks. I usually play at 90 FPS. Thank you for your work. The track is very good to play. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKKfzoU_Ivg

Thanks! That's a lot of cars. Right now for me on 1060 the track has the same performance as Kunos Nordschleife, 1 car 80-90, 20 cars 60fps.
Excellent track! I downloaded it yesterday and enjoyed all of it. Mainly it's variety and layout. Really a good one for fast cars to test your skills apex to apex without lifting foot. Non forgiving if you do it wrong at high speed. I think I did cut some of your trees in the long curve after the pits straight going wide with a Mazda 787b. Sorry about that. Will replant double. I swear :-) In a Mazda ND cup it's fun also. Great work! Keep it up!
Great fun to drive
