Installation
~ Download NFSU2HUD 3.0.zip
~ Method A
A1. Extract Manually to your Assetto Corsa folder
A2. Activate from Settings -> ASSETTO CORSA -> APPS -> NFSU2HUD
A3. Go to race and activate the app from the app menu!
~ Method B
B1. Drag and Drop to Content Manager
B2. Install (Personal recommendation, tick "Install as a mod as well" to manage the mod easier!)
B3. Activate from Settings -> ASSETTO CORSA -> APPS -> NFSU2HUD
B4. Go to race and activate the app from the app menu!
IF YOU ARE USING CSP 0.1.78 OR NEWER , NAVIGATE TO SETTINGS -> CUSTOM SHADERS PATCH -> GENERAL PATCH SETTINGS -> Tweaks for Python apps: -> Toggle "Enforce latest shared memory library" ON
This can fix the situation where my apps are not showing up when you go in race!
Tips
~ Scale 75% is better for 1080p,100% for 1440p and 125% for 4K
~ You can switch units through the Config app
Current Issues
~ Optimization, since last mod stuff only got a bit heavier but otherwise the same, everytime you activate the speedometer, in the beginning it will cache the pictures and after 30-45 seconds (assuming the car was moving at its full potential) it will work almost flawlessly.
~ When the gear is shifted, i made it so it displays a orange gear png just like the original game, for some reason it displays the N (neutral) in white instead of orange.
~ The triangle that indicates to shift the gear , doesn't last as long as the 1:1 design, personal decision, can be changed.
~ The NOS bar is bound to be implemented as a KERS indicator, time will tell until i find a method for that to happen.
PS. OpenGL app is still something am experimenting about, need to find more time for it.
