Just a recommendation (if possible):
Is it possible to get the models from the newer F1 games and use them here? That would be cool tho. Thanks!

Thank you! Unfortunately, the rules of this site do not allow making modifications based on ripped models from other games. Perhaps in the future, someone will post models for free use.

this is just a suggestion dont take it in the wrong way the halo is really nice but i thought it'll look nice if you can reduce the shine on the halo and match it with the colour of the livery

but no worries man this is great

Hmm, about match colour of the livery. I created combinations based on real cars. Ferrari and Williams have black halo.

You probably have a mod from Skyfall. It conflicts with the modified render_materials file. To fix this problem, download this file and replace it in the cars folder.

Sorry, Isn't it easier to download F1 2018 with the ready Halo? They have almost identical system requirements like F1 2017... But maybe in the future, I'll look into this game.
