Hello again!
After eleven months of development, my fifth major livery set is now here!
Plenty of experimentation has gone into learning more about livery design as well finding what Assetto Corsa and Custom Shaders Patch are capable of enhancing the look of the cars.
In this pack are nine unique racing identities, with some being dedicated to friends and inspirations, while others are completely original teams, with scratch made graphic design to accompany it.
Each livery includes Driver and Pit Crew suit textues, as well as now having skin_map textures for specular data. Some skins also include custom texutes for the digital dash display.
These liveries are made for the GUERILLA GT4 Mod pack that can be downloaded from the GUERILLA Forums.
I nabbed the window textures from ianmunroe's fantastic MPC GS pack to keep some continuity with their livery set. Additionally I have ensured that all driver numbers in my liveries do not contradict those of the 2021 MPC season, so they can complement the grid without any issue.
I hope you enjoy the product of my work. It would make the time I have taken all the more worth it.
QUIXICA - CONNECTICUT, USA - McLaren 570S GT4
The initial years of racing left other teams with a somewhat bad taste for QUIXICA due to the lack of experience from drivers and management, however as confidence grew further, a new pace emerged that took anyone who was otherwise scornful by surprise. Their current mindset hopes for a decent yielding of points this season.
NU : LUMA - HOKKAIDO, JAPAN - Toyota Supra GT4
The creation of NU : LUMA came solely from an internal disagreement between key members of AD>VANCE, citing concerns that the team was abandoning the ability to promote Japanese values and machinery for a more global approach in racing overseas. NU : LUMA seeks to stand as an ambassador for Japanese racing in the international GT scene.
APOLLO - USA - Chevrolet Camaro GT4
A skin dedicated to a personal friend
ZONE OUT - BRIGHTON, UNITED KINGDOM - Aston Martin Vantage GT4
Multiple successes across GT4 championships around the UK and Europe out ZONE OUT under the spotlight of American interest, with teams across the IMSA network voicing encouragement for the British group to join their driver lineup. MPC preseason testing gave clear indication that ZONE OUT was to be just as much of a heavy hitter as they are at home, with some speculating that they may already be fit for a fight for the title this year.
SIMRACING604 - CANADA - Mercedes-Benz AMG GT4
A tribute to big man Mike Smith from SimRacing604.
AD>VANCE - MIYAGI, JAPAN - Audi R8 GT4
A somewhat humble beginning start for the team from the mountains of Japan, AD>VANCE has seen a steady blossom to find itself amongst the most reputable GT racing outfits around the world, with investors and sponsorships eager to be involved in the project. This direction was not admired from all angles however, as a more globalized interest in drivers and machines caused an internal fracture, with some breaking away to form NU : LUMA. Nevertheless, AD>VANCE maintains its spot as one of the top teams on the lineup, with the car and crew to match.
REVOSTAR - SEATTLE, USA - Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport
The newest team to enter the Michelin Pilot Challenge, REVOSTAR is the pet project of racing veteran Sam Yates, who stepped down from top tier GT racing to create a race team that embodied the 'American Spirit of Racing' in the US. Yates' approach to racing took more focus to showing respect and having fun on the track and behind pit wall, as well as always giving a helping hand wherever possible, for other teams as well as his own. Yates' insistence on recruiting and training racing rookies hampered points performance, however the legacy of REVOSTAR was cemented as representing the human side of racing.
ELRONTUR - GERMANY - BMW M4 GT4
Another skin dedicated to a personal friend.
SIM RACING PADDOCK REQUIEM - BEYOND - Aston Martin Vantage GT4
A tribute to William Marsh who unexpectedly passed away earlier this year. I hope to use this livery in order to immortalize him doing what he loved the most.
