This is the greatest mod ever done! I'm in love with it!!!! It brings the nostalgia for the old ones in a very modern way to play. Just last week i was playing F1GP! And now with this mod I'm very very happy! Thanks a lot for the developer!!!!

One thing i am dealing with: even that in the talent files the numbers are great. Speed 98.5 for Senna and 70 for Ratzenberger in GP2 mod, for example. The quali and races don't really seems to use it! Senna never got better than 15 in a race. In other side pilots like Ratzenberger, Fittipaldi and Belmondo are always at the top. How can I deal with this?

1. Make sure you are selecting the "Grand Prix Evo 1994" series in your player settings, the one with the red background. If you are using the generic series "Grand Prix Evolution" with the blue background, the talent files won't work, because that series is made for multiplayer.

2. It seems you edited the driver name in the .rcd talent fie and the .veh vehicle fie, please make sure the driver names are all correctly spelled and all cars have their own talent files. If a driver with low talent settings always gets on top, that means this driver doesn't have his correct talent file.

3. Have you edited the field called "QualifyingAbility"? That value is a bit tricky, if you run a race without qualifying, the driver with the lowest value will be on pole position. The lower the value, the higher the grid position the driver will get. (QualifyingAbility means the average grid position the driver gets in qualifying.)

Proof that rFactor isn't dead yet. And what a mod it is. A real throwback with love sewn into every inch of it. A must download for sure.
Quick side question: Since we can have GP4 style cars in the game, can we have skins too? And 2000 as well. To make the GeoCram GP collection complete obvs.

Thanks for your review! Making new skins takes a lot of time and effort, I currently don't have much time for it. I will consider adding more skins in the future.

Thanks for the review! You can upgrade the GP3 cars into GP4 style cars. First, buy a car, then go to the upgrades menu, and select alternative sounds, alternative 2001 season cockpit texture, and alternative car shape. Install these upgrades and you will have a GP4 style car.

I've been dreaming of playing F1GP in high resolution for years. I can't describe how happy this makes me. And not just F1GP but both sequels. The cars look, sound, and behave like in the original games. Simply brilliant.
