Blackcelica's 2020 Assetto Corsa Realistic Looking PPFilter

Blackcelica's 2020 Assetto Corsa Realistic Looking PPFilter 1.5 Next Gen

Hi, All.
This is my personal filter which I created to achieve the realistic 2020 look of more modern PC games bringing AC up to speed without the need for Reshade etc. However you will need Custom shader Patch, Sol weather system and Content Manager installed. This is just a PPFilter and Sol settings. Just copy in to the assettocorsa root folder. It won't override anything so you can easily try it out.
If you install it, I would like to see how it looks on other system so please post a screen shot in the discussion section if you have the time.

Looks nice but what are your SOL Settings? Looks like you changed the color balance, brightness, etc.?

Hi, this is a 9 months old filter now and SOL version has changed loads since then. I've never updated it after sol 1.5 so it will probably look wrong with sol 2.0 or later. Thanks for review anyway.
Looks good but is there a wat to make it look like in the pictures??

Can't answer that as it does look like that in the pictures. Are you using latest SOl weather and CSP?
i've got an error message that some settings is missing from your archive file

You are using SOL 1.4.2 not 1.5. Update SOL to 1.5 with 3d clouds
I loved the result!
I don't have a high end PC but it tries hard to deliver.
Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work!

Fantastic ppfilter! Looks very realistic ánd does not tank performance.
I like A3PP but I prefer this :)

Glad to hear it, a lot of testing work went it to it.
Hands down the best filter right now. The A3PP filter used to be my favorite but this one is just so natural and clear compared to that. Very nice work, thanks!!

By default it is a little too bluish (for my taste), but set the "colors whitebalance" setting to 3 or 4 and it's spot on in all weathers! Just awesome!

Yes, I prefer the cooler look -2 overall but 3 or 4 may look a little too warm in the summer months if you are using seasonal changes. Easy option to adjust as required though. Enjoy and thanks.
just beautiful and very realistic

For me, it is easily the best pp filter considering the quality-performance ratio.

Man I wish I could add a screenshot to this rating. I absolutely loved it, especially in late afternoon/sunset. It's not too bright nor too dark, completely balanced all around....

Thanks mate...!

Thanks, it's taken a fair while of trial and error to get the balance right and keep fps performance. I'm particularly proud to achieve a great look without external influences like reshade. Thanks for review.
Fantastic Filter. My 1050ti thanks you!. It´s look very good.

ok, I have to presume you've copied it in wrong. Unzip the folder and copy sol_custom_configs and RTFX 2020 ACC to your assettocorsa\system\cfg\ppfilters folder. Then whilst in game select the RTFX 2020 ACC from the post processing filter tab on the righthand side menu. I take it you have sol weather, custom shader patch and content manager installed?
Love it!! For muy settings though is a bit dark, not the filters fault. But could you advise me on how to get it a bit lighter, i tried to alter brightness on the filter but didn't change much, what setting in the ini will get it lighter for my TV settings. cheers.

Hi, It's all done in the in-game app now (Sol Config v0.8) Just load up game, cockpit view hotlap. Open app from right-hand side. At bottom of app window go to page 1 then lower PP contrast % to 95 or go less or to whatever looks the best for your set-up. Hope this helps.
Gracias
Love the filter, on evening it's nice!
