Good point. For now you can find the version going to "Add or remove programs" and selecting AMS2CM.
Great idea & worked fine after installing Thunderflash car mods yesterday since new AMS2 update but after adding more mods (click/drag), I get the following error & AMS2 crashes when trying to use mod car plus now mod tracks are listed, hopefully someone will suggest an answer. (error message - No previously installed mods found. Skipping uninstall phase.

Apologies: the part of the description on how to join the Discord server to ask for help had disappeared in one edit. The link has been restored now.
That saves me a big junk of time and still works fine with 1.5
Thank you so much for creating this, it is absolutely incredible, saves so much time using this to install mods.
NOW IT'S WORKING PERFECTLY! THANKSSSSSSS....
Works like a charm,
Very noob friendly, thank you!
Only one word: bravo!
Great Application - one that you want. Easy to use even for novice computer person.
I believe the term 'game changer' is oft ill-employed... But in this case it is my opinion that the AMS2CM is an actual game changer, both figuratively and, of course, literally!

So simple to get going and use if you follow the simple instructions here and it makes Mod installation in AMS2 a breeze. Before, you would have to faff about with the extra entries every time a new bootfiles file was needed, but the AMS2CM does all that for you!

The only minor gripe is that if you have quite a few mods it can take a while to first uninstall and then reinstall them once you make a further addition, but tbh, it's worth the wait - there are some great Mods out there!

Looking forward to the proposed new graphical UI version which seems to be on the horizon.

A must have for fans of the SIM who are looking to enjoy the expansiveness which Mods have to offer.

Many thanks for sharing!

I feel a coffee coming your way in the not too distant future :P

Thanks for the great review! I'm glad you enjoy it.
The GUI has been a long time coming, but it is indeed around the corner: just needs some testing and a video tutorial (sadly very few people seem to read written instructions!). After that, the next big feature will be partial updates instead of a complete reinstall of all mods.
At first I stumbled on being able to run this Content Manager Utility pretty much based on my ignorance. Paoloambrosio reached out to me and could see my problem so he provided me with the correct Microsoft runtime file so his utility could then operate on my system. Considering what we used to have to do to install a Mod, I was a bit confused at first still.... The author then realized I was a special case , LOL and needed some instructions so he threw me a bone and man O man, before I could even figure out how to operate CM, it was operating itself and flying fast. I can't believe this! It's also teaching me a tad as I also discovered why sometimes I used to install files and car drivers names were missing. The Content manager does all this text file and boot filing for us!! It is a game changer! To the author : "Salute"
Thanx
Awesome tx man
Great utility but i't doesn't it stops for me when extracting boot files from game... the error message dameged or corrupted exe end exits.
Maybe adding bootfiles in the enabled folder can solve the problem?
Thanks for your help

Unfortunately doesn't work for me. No matter which mods I use, I always get this error message:
"Error: Sequence contains more than one matching element
Press any key to exit."

Try joining the discord server (link in the "Join us on Discord" picture). There is a workaround documented in the "common-issues" channel and instructions on how to help us diagnose the issue (it affects a minority of users).
Wow, a true game changer. Truly helps exploit AMS2's full pottential and hopefully encourages the creation of even more AMS2 mods. Definitely worth a donation!

Worked flawlessly , Thank you.
Found your tool and decided to get into AMS2 mods. Worked flawlessly. Just did a second test upgrading to the latest beta and ams2cm correctly detected changes and kept the correct files in place. Top notch.
Flying the Ferrari 250 GTO on old Nordschleife never gets old.
Thank you very much for this.
nice and easy, great now it has thunderflash mods too
