Sorry I'm being a bit slow here but I opened the clear folder right down to the last 2 ppsg files and copied them but I still can't seem to get it to work.

If you have unpacked the archive you now enter the MIsc folder and select what tyres you want.

Let's say you want the 'No Brake Marks Clear' tyres. So :-

Open the 'No Brake Marks Clear' folder.

In that folder you will find a folder called 'cars' - Copy this folder

Browse to your F1 2013 install folder :-

YourInstallDrive:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\f12013

Paste the cars folder in there, and select 'overwrite' when asked.

That's it ..... :)

I've done exactly that Graham and they're in there but I don't notice any difference in tyres. I did a 25% race at Interlagos and no blistering or anything so not sure what's happening.

I don't think they look more worn as you drive, they just have a set look.

If you want them to look worn, I think you have to pick the stained version of the mod. They will be stained from the beginning AFAIK

From the overview tab above, stained :-

Tires 2013 - F1 2013 Codemasters

Mod created to simulate tire wear visible during the race, has two variations (Dark and Stained)!
The mod displays worn tires and blistered, and only a variation of locked wheel in this time, wait for the classics!
(It was difficult to create different variations, after 4 consecutive years)

characteristics:

1.0

- Side of the tire with HD quality
- 2 types of tires (dark and Stained)
- 1 tire wear different for each tire
- Warning Light (Light Glow) improved
- Colors in Hard Tire more Stronger

Stained = the tires will already start with stain of light wear in the race
clear = has looks closer than what you see on TV
Dark = the standard, for those who like the original colours by codemasters

Most tyre mods are independent mods, use one or the other. Though the high-lod mod should work just fine with another tyre mod.

Personally I use this mod and the high lod mod together.

hello
