Time Attack Open 05/07/2013

In a couple of weeks im going to introduce a time trail event that will have a server set up from Friday to monday (over the weekend) for a couple of weekends to let you guys let rip on the Green Hell
I have found a 1970 NORDSCHLEIFE foundHERE
I am thinking Porsche 934-5 found HERE

I will post the times of the drivers after the weekend,
this will be driven in free practice mode and only times from this session this will be used.
So download and give it a try,
maybe we will do a club event if i get enough drivers twisting my arm to race it...

The event is open for 36 hours over the whole weekend
and will return the following weekend

I always admire it when GTL and some ones imagination come together to form new types of Sim-racing. Well done!

Tony, the Race 07 boys did this before us, but who cares because this is awesome!
Thank you Rupe for bringing time attack to GTL.

And I hope we see lots of other people around who are not normally able to be involved with the races due to work/timezone.

Yes they did hot lap challenge but this is TIME ATTACK (same thing new name)

Installed the car and track and they are working in Single player mode ..

When I join the server however, I get a "Cant join, track is not installed" error.
Any suggestions?

i did some laps (14) offline and

the car is a handful and the track is not what i'm use too

i predict that those who will be able to keep the car on the black stuff for an entire lap will be the fatest

I applaud you for you eagerness

But maybe because the server is not up yet that is the reason for the error

wow thats a very long time for a time attack event and i didn,t know that in 1023 they had PC's

and i don't think GTL will run on a 2103 PC

Yevs is was BC "Before Computers" then followed by AD "After Dos 3.1"

I will be testing it for a bit so it might go off for a bit but by 16:00 it will be on for the weekend

Just tried to join. "Car not on the server", what does this mean to me?

Now we don't have 1600 GMT maybe. Will retry later.

Solved it by reinstalling the same version, but maybe the 934 sounds had been changed by the 934 mod.
