the time you'd lose till a rescue team tow you out is already a penalty, not always gravel/grass will affect the car performance enough to make a driver pit
yes .. but often it does .. gravel, grass .. it is not as simple question as 'do we allow people to stuck" or "would players get frustrated it hey get stuck afer 10h of racing" :)

I remember racing in Race Departments Aussie Formula Abarth league a few years back in AC and I got stuck in the gravel at SPA which ended my race. Loved the realism and hope that it's there in the new ACC title too. Of course this was completely setup dependent as I had a super low ride height.
Yup, having recently started more serious sim racing at the time I felt very scared running a beachable setup in imola during the Formula Master league.

I love that sort of thing, super serious and hard core all the way!

What I do is make myself a promise that if I crash I have to log off, leave the rig and go do something I don't want to do. This way it really ramps up the pressure and stops me doing stupid "gamey" type actions that spoil races.

Sim racing for me is the realistic alternative to doing real world racing. So the more real I can get it, the happier I am..
My wife's face, im doing the washing .. Why.. I had an accident :sneaky:
