Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
BRIDGEHAMPTON.png

We are going to take it up a notch this week. We are going to race the Audi Sport Quattro @ Bridgehampton. This car is a little beast, but much easier to control than say a group C car. She is a pleasure to drive, once you have got to grips with her. Bridgehampton is a superb mod track, it is right up there with the very best track mods, you must try this mod, with this little beast. Get yourself on the practice server, then come back here and sign up for this event.

Reserve Drivers
If you have not got a place in the race event before official practice starts, please be in TeamSpeak by 20:15 UTC. Not before 20:20 UTC I will start to invite the reserve (reserve's) drivers into the event, starting at the top of the reserve list and working down depending on available slots.

A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you have to check and see that its clear before you re-enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits stay off the racing line until you are up to speed and do not race on your out lap. Let other drivers by in qualifying.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car. Remember, you've made the mistake by going off so let them by cleanly.
Golden Rule
  1. Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in teamspeak. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

Same as Robert please Craig, please put me on reserve, supposed to be working but will try and get time.

Would love to do it, this track with GT3 cars is simply amazing, real knife-edge stuff:thumbsup:

Ken it is all about having fun mate, I have only ever driven this car once before, it was an event our @Bobby Pennington laid on and honestly it was real fun
Yep, I've never laughed so much in my life. Go into with a "I'm gonna drive it like I stole it" or "Smoke 'em if ya got 'em (tires)" and you'll have a ball. And remember for this event, you don't need no stinking practice:D:cool:
Ole Mr. Dunkley has been putting some good ones on for you boys:thumbsup:

@RobertR1 be totally honest, would you be interested if we got something going racing bikes?

Don’t think there would be much uptake. Bike games are generally miles away from reality due to how a bike steers (counter steering) and the use of body weigh to manipulate the movements of a bike. Something that can’t be remotely mimic’d on a control pad.

There no “direct drive wheel” equivalent of bike steering that’s reasonable.
