Upcoming Developments - RDiLMS!

I normally link straight to the forums, but glad I didn't today. For those who do, there were a couple of interesting gems hidden in the club racing announcement:

"....and the addition of RD's first endurance series outside the walls of rFactor, the RDiLMS. The RDiLMS will bring the same superb mixed class endurance racing ethos of the RDLMS to iRacing 2.0 which boast driver swapping and night racing amongst its features!"

"Following the recent success of the iRacing club's Indy car events and the large amount of people interested in doing more with it, we also have plans brewing for a mixed road and oval league using the car and the fantastic tracks that iRacing offers. Look out for more news on this as the plans progress."

Looking forward to both of those!!

Just to clarify, I wasn't the one that found that sheet. That credit goes to Dario, I however could not pull that up from the image Dario had up. So I found it and saved it to post as I was not sure if anyone else could see it either.

not sure what is happening, lately I have problems with uploading images on this forum, same thing as attachment or from URLs
always it says invalid file, are there any restrictions or is it chrome related?

btw yesterday I just drag´n´drop picture and I could see it, today I see just small square, funny

Jep its a bug that came in the last forum software update. Nice eh

Try using the image url and put it between bbcode IMG tags like this for now and it should work

btw, how are you going to do this:
12 hour race - will there be night? and if yes - how? as it looks like you can ither load day OR night verion of a certain track (sebring for now)

is it in any kind of WIP, or is there any idea of how to do it?

Unless iracing magically pops a day / night transition out of the magic hat we plan to stick to only day races in the first season.
Sebring does support night races but driving in the dark for 12 hours is a bit too much

The RDiLMS will draw a lot of attention from interested sim racers all over the world. However a lot of drivers don't belong to a sim racing team.

The series however requires a team entry and this thread can be used for matchmaking. If you are looking for like minded people to form your own (temporary) RDiLMS team you can shout out here.

After having spent far more of my weekend than i intended racing on it, and 'accidentally' buying yet more content, I'm certainly feeling like this time round it might well have snagged me.

Preferred Class: Ideally a prototype but would drive a GT.

Credentials: Drove in the inaugural RDLMS in 4 races in the P1 class. Finished the final 3 events as part of a 2-man team with Ric Kay (including the Le Mans 12 hour event), managed to get class podiums in each of them.

Tortoise or Hare?: Tortoise

Seeking: Team of older drivers looking to compete and see out the distance and take a more relaxed approach to the race.
