I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

I have no dog in the fight, so I'll just listen.

Oh....except I think we need to keep it in Europe at a track we have not been to in either series. That's all I really care about. Monza (someone slap me) might be cool.

P.P.S. - But I can't stand Ganassi, if that gives you any consolation....:D.
I was sick to my stomach after Sonoma. To see Roger Penske and Rahal-Letterman go down in a farce of a circus taken straight out of the NASCAR playbook (double points, mysterious cautions) was all show. But they had a great IndyCar season, so onward and upward.

I have tested all of these many times and was in the LMP1 cars last night. I agree with Michael. It's like trying to drive with the Turbo Boost of the 98T at *all* times. These cars are extremely powerful. Remember, they are heavier, but almost as fast as an F1 car. If any car needs TC, these do. Besides, you know I'm a big fan of Realism over Artificiality.

That said, Peter, I did disable to assists on the GT1-X Cars because they are fictional and their counterparts (where you can find them) do not run with assists, since they largely run sprint races, although I'm not sure about LeMans and Enduance Events, but that's not going to be our format. The GT1 cars have no assists, but the two choices there are pretty weak.

Very, very fond memories of that series, such a lot of fun. Just one slight correction.. it was the Williams FW07B that I named the 'Bathtub', slowest car on the grid and with just 4 gears but oh so much fun to drive. Would love to see that and others from the classics in this game :inlove:

The 98T was indeed one of the harder cars to drive fast and consistently in the game, the turbo kick was tough to manage at times but also because of it's lack of gear indicator on the dash. I certainly had some fun in it though.

Ironically I was watching a great program on the iconic Lotus 72 yesterday and this morning :)
That's right. The 98T was actually one of the faster ones. And your wish is a distinct possibility, I think, Peter, as there is a "?" under the Lotus Classics on the WMD/SMS Car page. They have the license to them all probably, and I would not be surprised to see them add a few more.
