@Chris Down In, with a 488. With such a populated grid, this should be a very fun race. However, I wonder if my pc can handle this; I will see how it goes during qualifying, if I get too many stutters/freezes I will leave the server.

you could try to test that with AI, offline. if it handles calculating for 35 AI's, it might be enough online

AI taxes your CPU significantly more than online, so even if this doesn't work, it's probably enough online. My computer struggles with 30+ AI offline, but was fine online doing 108 cars at Nords, even at the start

One thing you can lower is lower your render distance, which should improve things. Even if you have some framedrops at the beginning, once cars start spreading out it should be much better.

Good luck my friend! I've also been through it at the end of February (hipster voice: "I had it before it was cool...") and came out the other side. Stay fit, stay well hydrated and nourished, and get plenty of rest, and I'm sure everything will be ok.
