This update fixed some problems existed in the last version.
The complete templates are embbed in the download file.

1. New GP94 helmet textures, which save lots of space and improved loading speed.

1. Improved car handling and AI behavior of GP91 and GP94 car.

Hi Whills,
just wanna say thank you for this great mod and the efforts (discovered it yesterday). Just looking at the pictures I thought it was the work of a beginner 3d modder . Thank god I read a few comments to detect your point with the retro style. I really had a flashback to good old childhood times with my brother gaming racing games on a 286 system.
OK now 2 points: The good. I appreciate that race refueling is allowed an so on. Never liked the no-refuel approach realism.
2. the bad
Your driver talent files are missing the tire management option (important for longer races, I guess).
I can do that for myself , no problem. But perhaps you implement this in future updates, just for the rest of us.

Is there a chance that the rear wheels could be made slightly fatter and maybe make the drivers helmet a little less squished. I realise this replicates the original but front on view just looks a bit too fat headed in proper 3d if you ask me.
Gotta say though the work put into this is amazing.

No the 91 cars mainly. But the 94 driver does also suffer from fat head

This update fixes some issues and brings some new cockpit textures.

The helmet meshs of GP91 and GP94 car have been rebuilt/adjusted. Rear tire size of GP91 car has been adjusted. (Special thanks to [B]Sam Smith[/B])

'Tire Management' has been added to all driver talents files. (Special thanks to [B]micro-impact[/B])

can I just ask... is there a chance that you separate cars or maybe I can use just one season, that would be a blast.
tbh... I deleted 91 cars cause they too ugly to me (not your fault of course) and I didn't play GP1 anyway just GP 2, 3 and 4.
and I just wish I can play 94 season and sometimes that latest, was it 98 ?
thank you either way, you have done great job of bringing back some great great memories...
now if you could only made TOP GUN game and we're done here

That's a great idea! I just made individual series for each class, you can choose them in main menu like this:

oh man 98 was the first game that i have played i got for xams 2004 you have a lot of great craft in just one mod thank you so much. do you think you can do a regular 1998 pack if you wan't to thank you so much for the mod.

I really want to remaster the skins for all cars sepecially the 1998 season, but I don't have much time and not quite good at making skins.
I have made the complete templates for all cars, waiting for the community to help....
