You will also earn +1PP per race if you beat your Tier Rival during a race.

Can you explain exactly what this means? One driver finishes higher than your rival? Total points scored by the team in a single race? I would prefer the 2nd option TBH.

!!! FLM : Rule Reminder !!!

You do no longer have a sponsor to reach. Your only goal is to beat your Rival which is the only team in your Tier with you.

You'll earn +1PP every time at least one of your drivers finishes a race (exactly as before).

You'll earn +1PP every time you beat your Rival during a race. Which means more points scored. In the case of a tie, best position wins.

With the 2010 points system

ToroRosso Vs Haas :

HAA 8th / 10th (=5pts)
TOR 9th / 14th (=2pts)
Haas earns +1PP (most points scored)

Williams Vs Sauber :
WIL 13th / 11th (=0pt)
SAU 10th / DNF (=0pt)
Sauber earns +1PP (best position)

Mercedes Vs Ferrari :
MER 1st / DNF (=25pts)
FER 2nd / 3rd (=28pts)
Ferrari earns +1PP (most points scored)

but what about
Arrows 1st, DNF (25 pts)
Benetton 2nd, 3rd (28 pts)

Arrows have finished ahead, but Benetton scored more points. Who gets the money then?

Real example...Ferrari vs. Ligier

Race 1
FER Ret/3rd (4pts)
LIG Ret/1st (10pts)
Race 2
FER 1st/6th (11pts)
LIG 3rd/4th (7pts)
Race 3
FER 1st/3rd (14pts)
LIG 2nd/Ret (6pts)

Ferrari beat Ligier 2-1, so those are the bonus points each team received. Plus, both teams had a finisher in all 3 races. So, Ferrari gets +5 PP and Ligier +4 PP.

I like that :)

I just realized, big mistake in thinking 2 As mean something for blue cars. It's like HAK and COU are 0.1 above PP limit for A driver...:) Since they got outQ and outR by a B driver who has 0.65PP faster car.
