OMG, I can't find any pictures or confirmation from Madeinmotorsport.com or Formula1.com if HRT was using the old car or the newer one. (I belive HRT said they would use the newer one and it should be that way but I have been reading some people saing that HRT used the 2010 car but I want this confirmed)

Couldn't someone confirm this and give me a link to his or her source.

They are using the 2010 car. The 2011 car is due to debut at the Bahrain test.

I'm not sure if I'll miss that race after last years GP there, but of course it's not good to hear that the season will start later.

I hate that the season will start later (well I want to see some motor racing on TV for once) and I have liked the Bahrain GP but this year it will be quite hard without the Bahrain GP.

as far as I understand it, a reschedule for November was on the books early afternoon, by late afternoon the news read that any reschedule had been nixed.

Thanks, but this article has only managed to teach me two things: a) Autosport copy-pastes parts of official statements to gain time, and b) the FOM blokes are copyright freaks, much more than you would ever think at first.

yep, seems the November date is not totally off the table at this point. The site which told me yesterday it was nixed, today talks about "possibilty to be discussed at a later point" of racing towards the end of November.

Okay, it's actually just a sensor package.

"I have a bit more for you from McLaren. The team have confirmed the supported bulge in the centre of the car's front wing is a piece of measuring kit. Fear not, there's no danger of them racing with the front wing in that guise. McLaren say there was also an exhaust problem with the car this morning - and after a lack of spare parts in Jerez and reliability problems last time out in Barcelona the team won't want any more technical glitches. Button has also spent some time doing practice pit-stops. I hope that helps."
