Has anyone been able to open the database at all?

Will a new tool by Ryder be required do you think? Ryder's F12011 database editor gives the error 'file failed to convert'

I saw that the Grip levels are well down compared to 2011 In Database
Valencia 2011 : race grip level 0.65
Valencia 2012 : race grip level 0.3372093
But do that make any difference in game??

I'm still sitting on the fence about buying the game but a big positive for me is the ability to easily tweak the AI performance between the different levels. So you can bunch it closer together so that you have say a 0.5 sec/lap between Legend and Pro and so on. I tried it with the demo by changing the 'track difficulty' and it worked just fine.

I hope we'll be able to change the tyre wear to fix the no-scaling there seems to be now. Maybe someone that has the game can check if it works by reducing the distance in the 'tyres' entry

Well it can decrease but it effects the overall game like if you do a 100% race then your tires will go off very quickly

I'll probably be doing it wrong, but when I renamed the Schema C file to schemaF12012.xml i place it in de RDE folder and try to open it with the editor..

Any help on this matter?

Ya it works easy, I was made it in 3 minutes (long I know). I check the shema of 2012 and I don't know how to unlock all teams in carrer mode, any ideas? it's different like 2011.

I think that's because on the demo there are no damage and no tyre wear degradation

Has anyone been able to edit the available flashbacks? When I edit them in the Editor, they don't appear ingame. The max stays on 4.

When You editing data base, In difficult you can change flashback's, max 99, but I saw it's some bug with flashback's if you used them too many times, your engine blowing up

Well I edited the database, but ingame it still says 4. When I use one it shows only 3 left.
