Note: Short races in the rules are now the same distance that medium (less short, which is 9 miles shorter) was prior to my edits. The purpose of this is to enable both sprint and endurance GT championships, which means they are a different challenge from Single Seaters, with different strategies being added alongside the new hybrid systems and ERS.

The most balanced option is Long races, I used the percentages from my Long edits to balance the others as I never play them, and never will. Please let me know if anything is off, overpowered or just plain wrong.

By the way there are 2 interview bugs(@calvg found one of them) where {Subject:Name} was used while all in the other language description {InterviewSubject:Name} is used. I did change them myself in the Interviews.txt and so far it seems it did work. If you changed them already don't mind this post.;)

I am uploading a new SSDD in a bit for testing, any help with getting some feedback on it would be appreciated. The changes are aimed at preventing min-maxing on the critical parts, and making a car that is better overall still competitive even if it lacks the best critical parts for that specific track.

The other changes on tier time penalty are to separate the tiers some more and have the cars do more realistic speeds.

Yep, got it with Red's advice above, the fixed version is now in :D

I've also added a compability 'patch' for using Personality Traits 1.21 with TFR's mod currently.

Also I am not sure but I thing the increasing MinPerformanceTimeCost from 1s to 10s is a bit much. At least that's the way I felt. I would suggest that you both change them to 5s (CriticalPartTimeCosts and MinPerformanceTimeCost).

Actually, you're seeing that 10s time increase only when you start with all your parts at 0 (in ERS) and increase your parts to 900... that's where you gain 0s to 10s.

So when you consider there's only a couple of hundred points between the top and bottom teams normally, it's not that much MinPerformancePart you'll see in the races.
 
If Car1 would have Overall Performance score 0 - worst Critical parts and Car 2 Overall Performance score 900 - best critical parts only then the time differents would be 14s (10s+4s, according to Brian's changes), right?

Yes. (That 0 and 900 would be an average of each part - I suppose it would be more accurate to say 0 and 5400 - which is 900*6 - would create that 14s gao)
