Assetto Corsa: Dream Pack 3 Released

Kunos Simulazioni has published the third DLC for popular racing sim Assetto Corsa. The third Dream Pack is available alongside update 1.4 for the base game.

Dream Pack #3 is currently 20% off, so it's available for 7,99 EUR at the moment. The pack contains the Brands Hatch circuit along with a batch of cars, both vintage and modern.

The full contents of the third DLC are:

• Brands Hatch circuit, GP and Indy layouts
  
• ABARTH 500 Assetto Corse
• FORD Escort RS 1600
• LOTUS 25
• LOTUS 72
• LAMBORGHINI Gallardo SuperLeggera
• LAMBORGHINI HURACAN SuperTrofeo
• McLAREN 650 GT3
• MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT3

Whilst the 1.4 Changelog includes:

- New reflection rendering system
- HDR now matches real life photographic references
- Improved AI ability to stick to the intended racing line
- Improved AI braking code (able to understand and use locked inside tyre for FWD)
- Vastly improved multiplayer antilag/antiwarp system
- Fixed missing ksBrakeDisc script in all the remaining cars.
- Tweaked wet volume for reverb on high distance
- Tweaked dynamics for Audi R8 Plus interior sound
- New Bmw M3 e30 DTM and Group A exterior sounds
- New font rendering system for dashboards
- Fixed fadeout timing for gravel particles
- Improved digital instruments of all cars
- Fixed some bugged special events
- Tweaked most of the special events to be compatible with tyre model 5/6
- FXAA is now using Kunos' own shader
- Fixed blurred rim/tyres on car with animated suspensions on farther Lods
- ksEditor: added node grid
- Introduced [DRS_ZONES] IGNORE_ZONES in drs.ini to allow road cars to ignore DRS zones (ie. McLaren P1)
- Fixed exaggerate motion blur for some camera modes
- Added serial opponent selection on Options->General: if flagged then opponents skin is not randomly chosen, but alphabetically
- Fixed unrealistic qualify times when session is skipped
- Fixed LaFerrari rear wheels
- Fixed Huracan GT3 model to update it from the pre-season version
- GT3 and GT2 cars tyre heating improvements
- Ferrari 312T Tyre v6
- Audi R8 Plus front torque vectoring and central differential improvements.
- Headlights revised on all cars
- Added missing dashboard lighting to cars where present
- Fixed various LOD issues on a large number of cars
- Car shader overhaul
- Skins fixes and updates on various cars
- Added templates for DP3 cars and Audi R8 Plus
- Optimization across the entire car range (should help with large fields)
- Digital instrument updates
- Fixed collision boxes on various cars​

The Escort would be okay, except it has quite possibly the most annoying engine sound I've ever heard.

Really? I thought it sounded pretty good. It's externals are nearly spot on.

The 72 and 25 though are huge fun, the 25 especially.

Need to start up Assetto Corsa again to see if they fixed the CPU99% issue in the meantime.
No point in buying DLC if the game doesn't run properly

Anyone have any problems after installing the pack? I installed it and can see the content but when I click on Start to begin the session, the "loading" screen appears then it goes back to the main menu.

You just need to change your resolution settings in game and it will work

Try to recheck your video settings. Most probably they've become messed for some reason.

Great Pack....smiling with driving sideways the Ford Escort MK1....great....see the car every year @ Spa Classic....Mr. Bormans are fast at Francorchamps. The new Mercedes and mc laren great to drive @ Brands Hatch.

The only negative thing....is and remains the fps when you drive a race.....@KUNOS....When coming here now finally a patch to improve the frame rate a lot better......take a look to your brother game "Project Cars" here a fine frame rate with 22 cars....and in AC a bad fps with 10 cars.

Most of the time i drive in AC Private Test day with one car

Great dlc.And Brands Hatch is a total blast. MP seems alot more stable.Now online just needs some extra ingame features added to give it abit more of a complete feel to it.

I'm really enjoying the track. I think the pit lane speed limiter finishes in the wrong place though, at least from the races I've seen there.

Funny you say that after the update my wheel didn't work either I changed over to a different usb slot and windows auto installed drivers again that fixed it.I tested the slot and there was nothing wrong with the usb slot it was originally connected to.abit odd

For 7.99 in iRacing you get half a car.
Worst visuals, worst ffb, worst phisycs...
Kunos just need to do something on the online to avoid mad drivers and crashers.
Assetto rules!

Bought DP3 after finishing work yesterday. Played with the Ford Escort and McLaren 650 GT3 at Brands Hatch Indy & GP, plus a race weekend at Blackwood [reloaded] with the Escorts... loving it so far

Anyone else noticed the suspension settings [toe & camber] are miss-matched at Brands Hatch? Tried Escort, 650 GT3 and R8 Ultra, settings were out [will try more cars today]. Escort settings were also off at Barcelona GP and Blackwood_reloaded [only ones tried so far].

I'm not buying DLC #3.I still have extremely low fps in 64 bit and stuttering in 32 bit plus pp is still messed up if i run the game in sli.I'm fed up with it and uninstalled the game.All other sims and games run perfectly so i can do without AC until they get it fixed,if they ever do.

Your GPU? Operating system? Don't complain and then prevent the community from helping you, m8!

You are aware that with the thousands who are playing the game without issues, the problem is probably more on your side than Kunos. Playing the blame game makes you look like a bitter user and solves nothing...AC works on a huge variety of PC platforms. Kunos has nothing to fix, so end of story. Develop a little fortitude, clean your PC of viruses and all other cluttersome things, and reinstall AC. Chances are it will work fine, and you'll be happy again.

I run Audio Technica M50x headset running on an o2 amp. It's a great audiio setup. The sounds are unapologetically dull in this pack, nothing wrong with my rig.

Then I think it would benefit for you to try the Bass preset from your sound card manager. Or a preset on your own. Has chances that it will sound better than on a flat equalizer. You could let AI car drive on its own (doesn't work for all cars, some you need to press ctrl+g for auto gears), but you can in practice or hotlap mode let the AI drive with ctrl+c, then you adjust the sound.

I just bought this DLC , I hope this Escort feels great.
Right now Assetto corsa is my First choise for sim racing. Rf2,GSC,PC,R3E are great to .... but as the time goes ... they start to collect dust on my Steam .

One strange thing is how the Lotus 72 seems quicker and grippier than the Ferrari 312T, which is odd considering the 312T totally destroyed the 72 in the 1975 season.

The Escort is fandamntastic IMO, probably my new favorite car in sim racing. I uploaded a video to RaceTube this morning if you want to witness all its slidey goodness.

Yeah, it's a Replay XD Mini camera and it doesn't seem to have the best sound but it gets the point across.
