AMS 2 | Beta Launches Feb 28th - What Are You Looking Forward To?

For Reiza backers, the much anticipated AMS2 Beta will go live this February 28th - what are you most looking forward to with the new game?

Now remember folks, only those are are early backers have access to the full list of cars and tracks confirmed so far for release - so please don't go and flood the comments section with "I'm looking forward to driving the xxx around xxx" - that kinda spoils the surprise for everyone else (and we are supposed to keep these things secrete anyway!).

However without going into content specifics, I'm sure we can all think of plenty of things to talk about to keep ourselves excited between now and the 28th!

So, who's excited for a first look at AMS 2???


Automobilista 2 will release as early beta on February 28th, with a full release scheduled for March 2020.

I'm a huge fan of AMS1, and very excited about their new baby. Being an early, early backer, I can't remember if there was an early acess code e-mailed to me, or if Steam would automatically know and download the new AMS2 content. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me remember.

FWIW - I signed up for the beta just a few days ago and got a Steam access code e-mailed to me. Instructions were to give Steam the code and. when released, the beta should show up on your list of installed Steam games.

I was not sure about AMS... but decided to back the developers from my home Country. Downloaded AMS1 and wow! What a fantastic sim. Sure it shows it's age on the graphics department but the handling and FFB is incredible. I do hope they build on it and bring most of the classes back. And yes, cant wait to drive the MP4/4!

To check if you are good........
1) Log in to your Steam account
2) In the upper right hand corner, click your profile name; and select "Account Details" from the drop down list.
3) Click on "View licenses and product key activations" The beta is listed as a "Retail" purchase

I think you can count on it. They must be aware of PCars 2 shortcoming and would be foolish not to address them. Say what you will, but I don't think Reiza is foolish.

I think you can count on it. They must be aware of PCars 2 shortcoming and would be foolish not to address them. Say what you will, but I don't think Reiza is foolish.

From what i've read on beta forums i feel pretty good and very aware at the same time.until i play it and test out everythink then i'll make my mind up

I've not seen one either, don't know where "it's been out for ages" comes from.

This proves, that it has been kept well under the hood before release yet, because you can't see it, without being backer, indeed. The public beta is also within the crowdfunding program only, so also the same people, that we are dealing with, that could leak something.^^

As a backer, the wait is nearly over so definitely looking forward to everything that AMS2 has to offer and quietly confident the Reiza will get most of AMS2 going well in this first time release....probably be a few teething problems being still in Beta which is to be expected, so I will hopefully be able to give some constructive criticism......who am I kidding, it's going to be awesome.

Simple...if they don't get the FFB right then it will be a fail. I didn't invest early because of SMS. I've been an early backer of Reiza since the GSC days. I chose to wait it out this time all due to the SMS involvement.

Seriously though, content list (and bunch of other information + polls) is a sticky post on the Reiza 51 forums. But a reminder, there's also a post that tells not to leak anything. And the content list isn't final anyway

I'm looking to forward to the game as a hole, I've missed AMS since I went VR so to have Reizas interpretation of a Sim with a different engine is intriguing to say the least.

Since day one, I'll wait past "Beta 1.0 roll out" has elapsed. So Some of you that are excellent at shooting video better make some fine vids of AMS2 or I'm revoking your RD d/l'ing privileges.
