@Patrick Fournier, @Nobkins, the cars are all the same performance-wise. The differences are cosmetic... engine noise, body shell, and cockpit layout.

There's definitely difference in handling, though.

If there is then it's lost on me. They all feel the same to me, the only difference in "feel" coming from my position in the cockpit between cars.

I believe so, yes. If you check the tech specs, the vast majority of DTM parts are standardised so any difference that is perceived in-game is very likely a placebo effect.

I drove few laps and layout of the track is difficult no matter the car

If I remember correctly, at least in my hands, Audi was good over kerbs, BMW power and merc handling...
