I'm really happy Brendon did not suffer any injury during that shunt.
I am a bit alarmed though by the amount of debris passing through those openings in the halo.
While it does and did protect him from the bigger bits, if you look closely at the super slow-mo, you can see a lot of really sharp carbon-fiber in the general vicinity of those openings.
I personally think they need to be closed out with a clear, protective shield.
A broken and very sharp, rigid wishbone traveling backward at speed after impact, is still a great danger to the driver.
