2012 World Rally Championship

i've been told that Armindo Araujo and other driver went off, does anybody knows anything about it?

EDIT:
i just saw it on motors tv, Loeb, Latvalla and Tanak (i think) went out. It's a shame, in Portugal we have been on a drougth since December or January and this weekend strong rain came and caused some troubles. I heard that stage 7 had to be cancelled due to a flood or something like that

WTF

After a Friday with a terrible weather, with heavy rain and much fog, at some points we couldn't see the people on the other side of the road, this is my Saturday video at Vascão, with much nicer weather:

Very bad news for Hirvonen, I think he didn't deserve that, he did a great driving and manage to be fast and stay out of toubles, no doubt that he was the best in the Rally.

They aren't, they're more like privateer cars. They don't give those guys the same equipment as the Total WRT.
i now dat Neuville de same car is
you kan say wat you wil but loeb & citroen are de best ad de eind of champioenchip

This is ridiculous, WRC and Rally absolutely deserve their own section, sux to have them in "other racing series" bring the Rally section back!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the info Harry

I agree. Went post this info, and thought to myself... WTF! Where has "WRC, IRC & Rallying" gone. Put in the "Other Motorsport Series" forum. Isn't WRC supposed to second to F1 in the world of motorsport (should be first, but Bernie can't have some other motorsport being more popular than his beloved F1)

Day 1 of Rally Argentina is behind us and a lot has happened.

Starting off with Stage 2, where Ott Tänak(Ford Fiesta WRC) completes the stage with a flat rear tyre. The tyre managed to puncture at the start of the stage, destroying the rear wheel cage. Same happened for Martin Prokop( Ford Fiesta WRC ) with both drivers losing 2 minutes to the leader.
Nasser Al-Attiyah(Citroen DS3 WRC) had reported neck pain and that he was distracted from the pain.

On Stage 3, the estonian, Ott Tänak, struck trouble again when his steering rod broke and he had to stop for repairs, losing 17 minutes to the leader. There was also trouble for Sebastian Loeb(Citroen DS3 WRC). Loeb didn't get the feeling with the car and had 4 spins in the stage meaning he lost 20 seconds.
Evgeny Novikov(Ford Fiesta WRC) lost a wheel during SS3 which ended the day for him and he had to continue with SuperRally.

Stage 4. This stage ended Petter Solbergs(Ford Fiesta WRC) rally for day 1 when his steering rod also broke and it took too much time to fix it. They were forced to SuperRally and this cost him the lead. The stage also ended Ott Tänak's rally for day 1, as he went off-road. He retired and is superrallying.

Stage 5 was only desperation for the young Belgian Thierry Neuville(Citroen DS3 WRC) who had rolled his car and done too much damage to continue.

Drama started unfolding on the last day of Rally Argentina, when on the last stage of the rally, Dani Sordo(Ford WRT), was forced to retire from 3rd position due to a suspected alternator failure, costing Ford WRT vital manufacturer points and Sordo championship points.
On Stage 17, two of the last competing Mini's were also forced to retire. The Mini of Paulo Nobre and Armindo Araujo.
Ott Tänak managed to fight himself to 10th position from 27th after a horrible 1st day.
