Automobilista 2 DLC Guide

Automobilista-2-DLC-Guide-Header.jpg
Automobilista 2 features an enormous amount of content in its base version already, but even more exciting cars and tracks have been added via DLC later on. These have been split into several packs, which are even bundled in some instances, so sim racers can easily lose sight of what to get if they want specific content. Our AMS2 DLC Guide is here to help.

As of January 2024, the list of DLC extends to 21 entries, with some of the packs overlapping with others on what they offer - the fact that some of the descriptions on Steam are a bit outdated does not help, either. So what to get?

If you want every bit of additional content, there are two new bundles that achieve just that. As of the release of v1.5.5.2 on January 20, the All-Inclusive bundles will allow players access to every piece of DLC released at the time of purchase at a 15% discount. This discount also applies to future DLC.

The "standard" All-Inclusive Bundle is aimed at new players or anyone who owns the Premium Expansion Pack or Premium Track Pack. Should you own these or any other items in the bundle already, your price will drop accordingly.

Automobilista 2 All-Inclusive Bundle - Contents

  • Automobilista 2
  • Premium Track Pack
  • Premium Expansion Packs
  • Historical Track Pack Pt. 2
  • Formula HiTech
  • Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans
  • Endurance Pack Pt. 1

Similarly, the All-Inclusive Bundle for SP Owners is for those who already own the Season Pass. This bundle includes the Season Pass and every DLC that is not covered by it. If you own the Pass or any other items already, your price will also be reduced accordingly.

Automobilista 2 All-Inclusive Bundle for SP Owners - Contents

  • Automobilista 2
  • 2020-2022 Season Pass
  • Formula HiTech
  • Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans
  • Endurance Pack Pt. 1
  • Historical Track Pack Pt. 2

Previously, the Season Pass was the one-size-fits-all solution. However, starting with the release of the Formula HiTech and Historical Track Pack Pt. 2 DLC in November of 2023, the Pass did not cover all available DLC any longer. Find the items included in the Season Pass below!

Automobilista 2 - Season Pass 2020-2022 - Contents

  • Adrenaline Pack Pt 1
  • Adrenaline Pack Pt 2 (not yet released)
  • Brazilian Racing Legends Pack Pt 1
  • Historical Track Pack Pt 1 (Cascais/Estoril 1988, Jerez 1988, Bathurst 1983)
  • Premium Track Pack (Catalunya, Hockenheim, Monza, Nürburgring, Silverstone, Spa-Francorchamps)
  • Racin' USA Full Expansion Packs (Parts 1, 2, 3) - including Pt. 4 once released
  • Supercars Pack Pt 1

AMS2 DLC not included in Season Pass

  • Endurance Pack Pt. 1
  • Formula HiTech
  • Historical Track Pack Pt 2
  • Le Mans

As both the Season Pass and All-Inclusive options pack a punch but are also priced accordingly, other packs or even individual DLC might make more sense for some sim racers. Check out the different packs below to see what they include and which one fits you! Also remember AMS2's convenient online feature that allows you to race even on tracks you do not own as long as the server host does.

Note: All tracks included in the Premium Track Pack can also be bought separately!

an article from Jul this year, now regurgitated for the second time. Paul where are you? it all went downhill after you left!
This is a resource for anyone who wants to figure out the somewhat complicated selection of DLC for AMS2. What DLC to get, what the Season Pass includes, what to buy if someone already owns a few of the packs, those are questions that keep popping up. Hence, we created the guide so sim racers can look for this info in a convenient matter.

And as not just one, but two more DLC packs have recently been added, it was time to update the guide once again so it reflects the current state of things. That's the beauty of writing online compared to, say, print media - you can easily update things to keep them relevant so they can help as many people as possible :)

I wish to like AMS2 but it seems to be something wrong with physics and handling... driving AMS2 cars feels weird for me... I feel a huge lack connection with the track -not enough grip, weightless car... I don't know...maybe it is some issue with madness engine
It's most likely your settings.... there is plenty of grip. Delete your setups.

Wow, really new to me. I always had a vague idea that Paul was still somewhere behind the scenes at RD, pulling in the right lines in terms of business - and operations for RD's good.
Happy on his behalf on his move to the real world of motorsports.

i think its the best driving game if you add a deadzone of 3 to steering then everything makes sense
