F1 takes to the Autódromo José Carlos Pace circuit this weekend in Brazil.

Formula One returns to Brazil this weekend after missing the 2020 race. The event will see the return of the sprint qualifying format.

Driver’s championship leader Max Verstappen holds a 19 point lead over Lewis Hamilton at a track both drivers tend to perform well on. Their respective teams, Red Bull and Mercedes, are separated by just one point with Mercedes’ slight edge.

Just four races remain in the 2021 season, with the field travelling to Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi to close out the year. While Verstappen’s 19-point advantage seems safe at this point, constructor’s standings are more hotly contested. Mercedes’s one point lead could easily swing to Red Bull’s advantage before the end of the year, and the 13.5-point lead Ferrari now holds over McLaren looks to be a tight battle for the remainder of the season.

Behind the four top teams, Alpine and Alphatauri are locked at 106 points each. Pierre Gasly’s impressive 86 points this season have offset Yuki Tsunoda’s 20 at Alphatauri, with Alpine’s points being more balanced at 60 and 46 for Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon, respectively.

There remains much to be decided this season in terms of the final driver and constructor rankings. Let us know your thoughts on who might finish ahead of where they are currently ranked, and who will take the win in Sao Paulo this weekend.

This article has a bias towars british Lewis Hamilton, you can smell it miles away with the way they discribe things. Also describing something but using the only photo you can find of Vettel conveniently only observing something on the opponents car and not touching anything. That is on purpouse and conveniently selectively selected.
First of all, FIA must check Bottas rear wing also, if the problem persist there its a clear violation of the rule, not investigating Bottas car suggest there is a bias on letting this be a incident without a firm and/or proper penalty.
About Max touching the car, I´m not quite sure because the video I saw was from way far and with not so much quality. But none the less if he gets a penalty its clearly because of both are figthing for the championship and punish one they think they should penalize the other, what will create not only a controversy but clearly will point that FIA desicion is taking into account the outcome. (the fight for the championship with a few races left)

In other news, the battle between Mclaren and Ferrari is close. Being a huge Mclaren fan I would love for them to get third in the constructors championship, but Ferrari have made some real strides forward as the season has progressed.

Who will get it I wonder? It was good to see both cars from each team reaching Q1.

mercedes after 6 years dominated.... Toto: we would like competition.

ohh wait Max Verstappen is faster let's cheat or torpedo him in Silverstone and Hungarian and now Brazil

since Lauda passed away Merc lacks style. You keep crying about the Max Verstappen fans. Even if he won't become world champion, he has long proven that he is the best this season.

if you have to win like this cheating before the end of the season is pathetic but they will be helped again by the FIA just like LH had 26x advantage cutting corners in Bahrain
Here goes Max Fanboy NR1 again :)

Silverstone: racing incident 60-40
Budapest: plain mistake bij Bottas, not on purpose
Monza: too aggressive by Verstappen
Yes, I agree that Max deserved the win in Bahrain... but is it really impossible for you to see other than black and white?
People make mistakes: Max does, Lewis does, Valteri does, and yes... FIA does.
There is no FIA conspiracy and Lewis is at least just as fast as Max.

I love Max and want him to win the WC but people like you make me feel almost ashamed I do :)

It was said top 8 after quali all got their rear wing checked. Only Lewis' car had that massive gap >8,5cm.

At 2:30PM (CET) another meeting between stewards and team Mercedes+Lewis.

Lets pray for the serenity of this topic that both are innocent and let the championship be decided on track.

it is noticeable that the decision of the FIA takes a long time.. on a black and white regulation. Strange

Super annoying sound…at least if you get run over in the pit lane, you can’t say you didn’t hear it coming

Mercedes FIA news will take longer:mad: Are they looking for a solution without a verdict, would be no surprise.
