Its a fun mod but it isn't a skippy. This allows you to make far too many mistakes, it seems to only slide on longer high speed corners and you can put the power down way too fast. The RF2 version is the closest to the real life thing I've driven, you need to constantly balance that car on every corner and every straight, in this I can gun it and jerk my wheel side to side with no fear of spinning. Lafrente's review is pretty much spot on, this just simply doesn't have the characteristics that make the skippy what it is. It is still a very fun car to drive though and really well done for your first mod.
Nice Job, handles nicely, looks good! As someone already noted, the real car has a "crash box" sequential trans, so you do need to lift off throttle to shift, not a big deal, in fact I like driving this "dual clutch" version better. Also, I carelessly shifted into reverse a few times while moving forward. I'm pretty sure you can't do that in the real car. Anyway, nice car, nice work.
Skip barbers are 4 speed manuals not sequential, a manual is way more fun to drive

take a look at this:

They are actually 5 speed sequential.
Great mod but should be manual transmission not paddle.
Very good mod and detailed model. What bothers me is that strong center spring effect into/throughout corners. That diminishes the quality of the otherwise good physics configuration. I'd rather have this effect configured in the wheelbase settings. This effect just impairs the FFB. This maybe nice for really cheap and weaker wheels, but for DD Wheels or stronger beltdriven wheels a no-go.
It is a fun little car to drive but I agree with a couple other posters that it has too much grip and is too forgiving to be the learner/teacher car it is supposed to be. I am just not a good enough driver for it to be stable as it is, especially under braking.
I like to drive it, but can you update it to give more setup options like wing angle, and perhaps the brakes need adjustment. They lock up all the time unless I use light braking. I'm already running on 52% front and 80% strength. Otherwise It's a fairly easy car to drive, and handles well. I like the branded tyres too :P.
I looked up the latest SB car, and this is also an older model. Any plans to bring us the latest version?
Could someone tell me how to paint the blured_rim file without making the rim look like a large disk. Thanx!
Now I haven't ever driven this car in real life but I have in RF2 and iRacing. Most of the times AC mods are above iRacing and hold their ground against RF2, most of the times actually being better than RF2.

The mod in RF2 really makes you feel like you are in a learner car. It literally doesn't allow you to do anything stupid that a rookie would do. You always kinda have to keep the balance of the car and drive it like a ballerina. That seems to be the case also when you watch the onboard videos of the car on youtube, which can give you a pretty solid idea what it feels like to drive the car.

This mod though, is just too typical, it doesn't slide around, it doesn't have any special characteristics that this particular car has, you can brake and turn at the same time easily and still recover easily, you can basically do all the dumb things you do as a beginner and not pay for it. This mod feels like it is not aware of the thin tiny gripless tires that it has, and seems like not aware why it was even created in the beginning. Which was to make the racers drive in a correct way.

I'd like to see this feel less grippy, more slidy but also controllable in a smooth way but not allowing you to do reckless stuff. Thats pretty much what this car is.

Hi Lafrente. I do really appreciate that you take the time to test it, and give it a chance. Is interesting cause a lot of people liked it, other ones complain a lot that it slides too much, and you are one of the few who says that it needs less grip, so we are moving in a wide range of opinions and feedback where pleasuring everyone is very difficult, or almost imposible, (there are even people who claims the speedometer shouldn't be sideways) but the feedback and importance that you and other people gives to this mod (even if dont like it) is what makes this community and mods special and get better every day, We appreciate it. Also thank you for the kind and nice way you show your thoughts, some people can be rude and disrespectful, not you :) see you arround.

Intentalo con Content Manager, igual estamos cerca de lanzar la actualización de instalacion mas facil.
The only good thing is the model, the physics and sounds are really bad, no grip at all and when i press my brakes the wheels instantly lock up no matter what speed, with minimal braking.

Wich wheel and pedals are you using? This car is a training car, It is created to make the drivers suffer and has no assistants, but if you learn how to handle It it will improve a lot your skills :)
