Absolutely amazing. The DRS lap counter is slightly buggy, but I'm sure it'll be fixed in the next update. Keep on going!

After many test...finally works! See my post in discussion section. Damn! Great app! Change the feeling of the game with a correct use of DRS! If you want to use with other DRS cars remember alwayas to active extended physics into quick race setting :D :D :D :D For now THANK YOU!!!

Good stuff man. For everyone having issues with AI always having DRS, make sure you pack the data of the cars. For whatever reason, it doesn't work properly unless it's packed

After so many years, someone has finally done it. Great job man.
But i have one question, is it possible to make it such that i can easily apply the mod to any custom f1 cars or even f2 and f3 cars

Thanks Shadow! And yes you can test and see if other car mods work

1. Unpack the target vehicles data.acd file (I’ve only tested the validated cars, but most cars with DRS should work).
2. Copy the script.lua file from the RSS FH22 data folder to the new target vehicles data folder.

i follow all your instruction step by step but it failed to launch the race !! (cant launch the race:car "RSS_formula_hybrid_2022" is damaged, lods list is missing .
when i disable (use unpacked data if exists) the game launch normally but Ai use starting the first lap race the DRS (its unfair) specialy when you play at 100%AI

Try unpacking the data again, this is not an issue caused by my app.

This is amazing, thanks for your work! Of course there's some room to improve it further but right now it works flawlessly with the RSS Formula Hybrid 2022 cars. I had no luck with other cars (previous RSS cars, VRC cars) but right now I'm very happy with using this app with the RSS FH22 cars.

works great for me, using CSP 0.1.79 and everythings perfect, however sometimes it won't let me change the MGU-K settings even after a new lap, but other than that it's great

I have 0.179 preview5, and AI keep using the DRS in the first 2 laps. Btw, is great this mod.
Can u create the same mod for the Formula Alpha?

Thanks, and it should work for most mods, just drop the script.lua file in the data folder. I’ll start validating popular F1 car mods and updating this resource as I do. If you follow the installation guide properly there shouldn’t be any issues with the AI using DRS in the first 2 laps.

Shows great potential! But the purpose of DRS is for overtake, if AI can use it all the time but you can't, does that make you less likely to overtake?

Thank you, it works for me, but for the ai it doesn't work; the ai cars activate the drs in the first two laps too, and also they activate it all the time, even if they are not within 1 second of the car ahead. Can you fix it?

WOW!!! Just when you thought AC had gone as far as it could with F1 then you pop up with this Gem!!! Thank you so much for this and your hard work in bringing it to us.

Hey Cozy, I actually made this so I could use it myself with your custom championship :)

Feel free to do with it as you please.

As for other cars working with the script, just add the script.lua file that is in the RSS data folder to any vehicle of your choice. The biggest potential issue is the AI might be a little slower than acceptable. If that is the case I can help you adjust it till it works as desired.

Very good job, one problem is that the ai does activate the drs from the first lap and the player can't do it until lap 3. You will have to fix the ai.

In real life, DRS is not enabled until race laps have been completed.
