Need some help. Installation of P&G stops tellling me that cant open an congig.ini file ( gtr2 clean version, no mods).

Any ideas ?

Still an incredible mod. One of the best ever. Such remarkable attention to detail - top notch sounds, good 3D models, and detailed information about all cars. And the version hosted here is NOT corrupt and still works with current-day Steam installs!

Just incredible!!!!!! What a triumph and what an effort! This is a work of genius thanks to the dedication of everyone evolved. Im in hospital with an ancient laptop for company and was looking for an old simple driving game it would run found gtr2 then this and i knocks it out the park even on old hardware. The mod is crisp detailed with amazing physics and of course game play thats second to none. Cant wait to get this on my rig when i get out, how did i not know this existed! My days in hospital have been saved by this amazing mod thanks guys.

TIP: Before installation create a new folder on your "Documents" folder and name it "GTR2", then go inside and create a text file and name it Config.ini, that's going to avoid a very commom installation error on modern systems that made people here confused. After you install it you're free to delete the folder.

The greatest and most professional mod in any racing game ever . Can't believe people who mark it down because they're incapable of working out how to install it . Operating systems move on and we have to adapt . It's not the original creators fault .

There is an issue with the zip. It doesn't extract PnGv3.2.002, which I'm guessing is a vital file, as it completely stops the installation process.

Just to repeat what Dave Hope said, I used to race this mod on Race2Play, back when online simracing was in it's golden age. The sims are better, but there is still a hole where R2P used to be, but remembering this mod helps!

After windows 10 last update.. no more possible for me to run GTR2 nor This awsome Mod.. that previously knew (Ver.3.1)

Anythihg possible to do about this?
