As much as I loved the previous version, like sickopaul said my game is EXTREMELY bright after install. I can't see the clouds in the sky and it's pretty hard to drive during daylight hours as it's waaaaay too bright. Not sure if there is something we can do or change in our game to fix this. As it stands it's unplayable on my end at the current moment sadly.

i liked the 3.3.1 version but now it has changed alot, why is the cockpit so bright ? I like it though dont get me wrong, i just installed the 3.3.1 version as i like it better...but you did a great job my friend, keep it going. Can i change the brightness myself please ?

Thank you for your review! It's all up to personal taste :) and yes the 4.0 is completely different to 3.3 and such it's a full "remastered" version of it.. You can manually adjust the brightness in the post process filter app by finding the filter right clicking, clicking edit and the on the "colour" tab there should be brightness :)

This is an absolutely amazing filter! I am using pure. Filters can never be perfect as there is an aspect of personal preference but for me this is easily the best filter I have used. The lighting is absolutely beautiful! I love this filter at night as the contrast between dark and light is amazing. The only problem I have is that the headlights are too bright however this is due to CSP not differentiating between headlights and the rest of the lights on the map. There is no way to have bright map lights while still retaining correct headlight brightness. As this is out of a ppfilter maker's control and is a problem with all ppfilters I cannot blame him for that. Even with the headlight problem this is still an incredible filter and the problem does not exist on open wheel cars!


Also
If your using pure Make sure to change weather script in weatherfx to pure if you use the content manager preset.. Also make sure you pick the right ppfilter for pure.

Since 4.0 Exquisite_Sol with Pure is perfect for me but Exquisite_Pure with Pure is ultra bright, headlight IA and dashboard, I recomend for all to use Exquisite_Sol with Pure for waiting he is a masterpiece of Ppfilter, i can take screenshot if needed

Amazing filter, I'm really enjoying. It gives a realistic feel to the sim. I tried so many and for me this the best! Just a tip for all, disable the Depth of field and FXAA, then you'll have even better sharpness, being possible to see the car dashboard very clearly.
