All the BO Caterhams are excellent trainers and racers and this one is no exception. It steers with the throttle, oversteer up the ass, either whenever you need it. I'd put a mirror in the center and add a higher gear ratio to the transaxle if I had my druthers, but very nice, indeed.
thanks for the kind words ;) missing mirror in the middle is just to remind me how i have mine at the moment XD very unpractical indeed!! This "r500" was meant to be a weekend project with no detail and very simple, already spent too much time on it (:
Excellent mod! We had a great time racing it with a big group on Correcas Flat Out Server on LA Canyons. What a great car! And who doesn't love Caterhams??? :Danke
Hi ! ;-)
A pretty nice little devil jewel, I LOVE IT ! <3
As I wrote previously, your mods are very well done, a must have, thank you so much for your works, I think we are numerous to appreciate it with a gorgeous pleasure. ;-)
Just noticed one minor detail, the left rear tyre has its sidewall texture mirrored, seems like is not correctly mapped. Aside from that, it's great, very fun to drive on narrow courses.
drives well , looks good but the shifter is wrong, the (one ) mirror is wrong and the brake light does not work.
all those 5 starts, are you guys even drive those cars?
Please use support area to report issues. How is the shifter wrong ? Mirror is mirrored indeed. Light does work but not very bright at the moment. Sorry that it was such a penible experience for you.
Beautiful work guys (and gals?) - I had the use of a Sierra Cosworth engined Caterham 7 a couple of decades ago, drive it fast and your teeth fell out...!!!! This brings some of that nerve jangling, teeth crunching feeling back again. Way to go guys, and thanks so much for the mod.
Absolutely amazingly fun car... when you get a setup that works for you... It gets even more fun.
With the power to weight of a Buggati Veyron...
And being very light... Racing them puts a smile on your face.
Everyone needs to race these cars!
Perfection and crazyness all in one... anyone that hasn't tried this is really missing out... Big time!
Thanks to all involved in the creation of this superb car!
