Probably a lot of leagues are planning their streams and commentators are looking for some help in their work I decided to give them a hand! I created it a year ago for commentators in my league (find us: here)!
Please read everything carefully. There are a lot of important things which will help you in configuration.
However, before I say why do you need it and how to use it, you need to know what is required to use it:
First of all, huge credits to @GarySwallow as the broadcast screen is based on his plugin.
- You need newest version of SimHub (at least 7.0.7)
- Download and install plugin created by @GarySwallow https://www.racedepartment.com/down...rds-timings-sidescreen-f1-halo-overlay.18746/
- Download my screen "Broadcast Screen" and install it to SimHub - It won't work without Gary's plugin.
But the dash! It is based on F1 TV Pro and the look of the screens there:
It has three screens:
IDLE Screen:
Main Screen:
Weather Forecast Screen:
Setup:
2. If you want to use in career mode (the screen does not support my team for now) and you want to have real driver names - inside my "broadcast screen.rar" there is a folder to copy with instructions.
1. After you install the plugin created by Gary and my screen head to the: SimHub\DashTemplates\GS - Options and open: "GarySwallowF12020DriverNames"
2. League drivers must use the same car and replace the same real drivers all the time.
For example: I will always take place of "Carlos Sainz" He is in McLaren and in the real world he has number 55. Inside "GarySwallowF12020DriverNames" I replace "55=No Driver#55" and replace write there: "55=Javliar
3. After you write everything save file
4. In SimHub go to Additional Plugins -> Gary Swallow Plugin -> and in "Director" tick "Tyre Info", "Pit Count Visible", in "MISC" tick USE F1 2018/9 Driver Name from External File" and voila.
