Cars The Need For Speed

So I went on steam to see what new games are out and saw something called Full Throttle and i found A3DR in it. Im convinced the game is based around him.

"something called Full Throttle"? These kids nowadays, they didn't suffer in a world of pixel art adventures with crazy puzzles and no guides at hand... :p (FT was actually a depart from the worst of those)

If you let me do a nitpick, the only detail that might not look so striking is the texture on the front turning lights, as they look a bit flat. It might because of those highlights in the texture that are caused IRL by the reflector behind them, so they don't hold so good at an angle and it looks more 2D. OTOH, the rear lights look perfect with that photographic look, because the plastic has more opacity.

(edited phrasing/mistake)

Trust me ive been there, being a visual novel(not the softcore porn on steam) fan where half the games are in 640x360 or something like that because japan doesnt know what wide screens are yet. Would have probably played the original full throttle if my parents didnt think choppers led to drugs and shooting people

Almost missed your edit! yes I'll see what I can do about that, I'm not so happy about those anyway. Makes no sense to go full geometry there since AC doesn't have any real reflections/refractions so I'll see what I can do, maybe with a bit more volume and a subtle normal map.

A normal map could add the "3d" missing to the reflective shapes inside the plastic. I remember something similar on the side indicators of the kunos Supra. If there's a chrome reflector behind, maybe using transparency variations on the texture according to the brighter highlights could help to add depth. It's amazing to see you go the extra mile on all these details, when one looks at the showroom, it's easy to forget that your model is meant for realtime 3D, not for a static render.
