McNAMARA BREAKS BARRIER FOR POLE
10 - Netherlands - Qualifying.png

James McNamara continued his fine form from Hockenheim with a stunning late lap, going sub 1m 16s for the first time all weekend. He will be joined on the front row by teammate Manolis Sigoulakis again, the 2KF1 team enjoying a 3rd straight lockout.
But, as ever, the focus will be behind them, as Stephan Bohner went best of the rest in his first home GP, taking 3rd ahead of Ben Utzer. This left Nathan Cornes in 5th, where he will be up against Jamie Cocks again in what could be a close fight between two of the best race day drivers in the field. Tobi Kederer looks to forget last week as he starts from 7th, with another home driver in Donald Brugman in 8th, Joel Rautavaara in 9th and Rui Martins in 10th.
On that subject, Ravenwest and Jawz both turn up for their home round as well, Jawz with Brugman in 8th and Graham in 20th, while Ravenwest have Martins and Diehl in 10th and 11th.
Notable drivers to talk about are Harvey in 12th, Ishikawa in 13th and the RD cars of Costello and Reed in 14th and 15th.
Commentators Comments: 2KF1 did their bit in quali, but we don't expect any heroics of last round (but see below). That being said, Stephan Bohner finds himself in a strong position in the first Dutch GP for FFG, a race he'd no doubt love to score at least a podium in. However, the next three guys behind are the ones that could well be fighting for the win. Utzer, Cornes and Cocks all are looking good here, and Rautavaara isn't too far behind, to the point that I'd wager the top 5 would be some combination of those guys. That is, of course, if they make it that far...
Podium Tips: N. Cornes, J. Cocks, S. Bohner.

damn did I seriously forget to sub out Ben  sorry team

but back on quali, would have prefered either practise session.
