How to convert the pssg. files so I can open them in photoshop.
Then convert it back so it works ingame.
First get ML's 3d helmet model and template (http://www.racedepartment.com/forum...ireframes-for-help-in-skinning-ps-only.66270/ and http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/threads/helmet-models-for-photoshop.56332/) and make your helmet.

When you're done download this: https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-adobe-photoshop and save your helmet (the 2d texture file, not the 3d helmet model) as a .dds. Just use the default settings.

Then download the pssg editor from here: http://petar.outer-heaven.net/downloads/ (just get the latest version). If you just want to use your helmet in career mode go to your f1 2012 install directory/characters/bespokehelmets and use the pssg editor to open up any of the helmets there, it doesn't matter which one (make a backup if you may want to use it again later) and import the .dds you saved earlier and save the file. Do this for both the low and high file of the helmet you replaced, you may want to half the resolution for the low file depending on how beefy your computer is. Then just start up the game and in the helmet selection menu select the helmet number of the file you replaced (the menu picture won't have changed) and you should be all set to enjoy your very own helmet ingame.

If you want to use an existing helmet as your base, just do the same in reverse.
 
Does anybody know if it's possible to change my own laptimes on some tracks with mods, like in Monza I am almost two seconds faster than real f1 cars, but on some other tracks like Korea I am over second slower than them. I don't use any setups other than the quick setups.
 
Hi! I don´t know if this goes here but only one question the tires in the imagen below are real? I mean they have been used anytime or only it´s a concept. Someone got them?? They look very good. Thanx. Sorry for the english.

So here's one for you modders:

The Situation
We have a league here in RD.com that is using 2012 performance in order to make things a little more competitive (fastest drivers get the slowest cars and viceversa). Things have been going well, but we want to take things even further, we want to mod the cars in order to provide an extremely balanced field. We started small, we only modded the Toro Rosso in hopes of making it around 0.75s faster in Korea.

The Problem
We developed the mod and it seemed to do the trick, the TR was faster. However, here came the issue... Back in F1 2011, we had used a similar mod in multiplayer mode by using Tunngle (VPN) and making sure all the drivers had the same mod installed. Unfortunately, it seems that in F1 2012, things have changed... 3 of us installed the mod, we ran a multiplayer game using Tunngle, but the guy in the TR got kicked out from the session. Sad day for us.

The Question
You guys may be more familiar with what goes on when a multiplayer game starts. We assume that the game is comparing our files to some other ones (our guess is that they're in CM's servers), and if there's a mismatch, the person gets booted from the game. Is any of you more familiar with how this system works? Is there a workaround? Alternatively, do you think there may be a different solution we haven't thought of?

I think the question was already here...but i don´t know the answer at the moment .Is it possible to make a visor,where you can see the face a bit?Or something like that in this way
 
I´m again...;)In the startmenü in game are only the Red Bull,Ferrari and McLaren.How you can change this,or is this not possible?Maybe that the start shows one car,for example in my case the modded HRT...(I know when i change the model of these teams than is there another car.)
