What is your dream car?

It has to be a Ford Escort Cosworth with the WRC bodykit. Affordable and fast!

The one thing I love about older racing cars and in specific the Quattro S1 is the fact that it still captured the imagination and maybe because it was so brutal. There was never a dry moment listening to the wastegate and the car cried out PASSION.

This still blows me away when I think of it...

During the early 80's (which is years and years ago) Audi was able to manufacture a rally car that produced more than 500bhp but it gets better.

They were able to make that car stick and fly around loose gravel, hairy bends, facing cliffs and carving through scores of spectators without even blinking. If you take that in context of how technology repeats inself every few months it was amazing for those days. They invented and perfected the standard which is something that everyone until this day use as reference point. Lancia and other manufacturers followed but let's face it there can only be one original and that was Audi...

Yes in 2009, I know there are better and modern things that will pip older cars but for me it is how they made it all work but that is not what this is about, is it...

At the end I guess it is not just about the Audi or the fact that Quattro redifined everything everyone thought they knew about AWD...

We all might support different manufacturers and love different cars but the one common thing we all share and love is.... Motorsport

For as much as I love the E30s and the E21s, I really like the older 7 series too (mainly 1997 and before). I prefer large cars, except for when it's a sports car. Though the new 7 series are pretty darn nice too.

But nonetheless the E30 is basically the king of the 80s subcompacts :).

I think I would need to actually have a driveway before deciding. Wouldn't really want to clash
