is there a way to change the name in the vehicle loading screen prior to going to the track? also in the list of summary after racing?

I don't know. If there is I haven't found it yet.

You can do it by yourself. Just create a .png (128x128), put inside a logo of the manufacturer you want and save in two files (badge & logo), then open ui_car.json and change lines
"name": "xxxxxxxxxx",
"brand": "xxxxxx",

Like others Kunos are made. Or just use some logo made by Kunos and put inside your folder.

Edouard 25 updated URD mods: real names, brands and logos in launcher with a new update entry:

GT500 + small updates

• Added the three Nissan GT-R GT500 (displayed as variants)
• Updated the IndyCars with the new Dallara logo
• Changed the tags for the GTE cars from "GT2" to "GTE-GT3"
• Updated the previews for the three original Corvette skins
• Updated all cars with current URD version number (usefull only to those using a content manager)

You need to do a little more work with the venom. There are three options for you to choose from, you'll need to do it manually and for both car options too.

I'd show you a folder structure but I don't have them installed atm.
