Track Designing Competition

http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=7263134

Alright, let me explain some of the thoughts.
Some of the seating in the stadium, the outside bits, are temporary and will be removed after the World Cup. Well, instead of destroying it, move one bit some meters back or take the first rows out, pull the other bit on the other side if you want (I have made stands' moving seem like a pretty damn easy job), and take advantage of the seating. It also features two crossovers, I imagine it is fine.

There was 1 access road into the French Gp. 1! Design a new access road into the circuit so I don’t have to spend 4H travelling 10miles........( wait that’s bit of a biased challenge)....
Instead make a track in any country.......
However, the track must be in the shape of the first letter of that country. The shape does not have to be exact and can vary a bit as long as it roughly follows. Can make for any racing series, just note what it is made for ( bar formula E as we have had a lot of formula E challenges recently),(sorry for unoriginal challenge, I am very busy atm)

Unoriginal? This is an incredible challenge! We're going to have to try hard to find streets that follow a letter :roflmao:

I decided to only do it in cities that also start with the same letter just for fun :D

I never said streets;):O_o: but come to think of it, thanks for the suggestion:sneaky:

So this one might need a little explaining (and imagination), so bear with me. It's set in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. I can't quite bring myself to call "U" the first letter of the country, so I used them all. The "U" is found in the first part following Harvard St, all the way around to the intersection of Kent and Longwood. The "S" is found by following Park, Boylston, and Fenway. And finally, the "A" is really small, but is more obvious when you look at the other roads surrounding Brookline and Beacon.

Because of the length of this circuit (8.5km) and its massive 2km straight, I think we'll reserve this for one of the WEC series.

And the results:
In third place is @Nelson Ullinskey with his Swedish track that never deviates away from the clear letter formation while creating a fun looking track. Little too many chicanes for my liking even for TCs but overall great track.
In second place is @Jimlaad43 with his Mexican track. With a contrast between fast flowing sections and tight traditional street track sections in a 3.8 mile track, this track uses the limited varied roads to great use. Looks a fun track to drive and your track is only just usurped by our number one track.
And the winner is.......
@rubaru with his track representing the US. What can be said about @Jimlaad43 track can be said about @rubaru ‘s track with varied corner types and sections (the section between 2 and 3 miles giving me spa vibes) as well good overtaking spots for racing. Overal a blast of a track, making it feel like some kind of epic track that could be intergated into any series as some kind of special event track, not just endurance championships.
3 different winners showed all tracks were great, nice work everyone.

Awesome, thanks so much! I've had a bit of a busy weekend with the fam, but back to the dept now finally. So, let's continue where we left off, with the Microstates challenges.

All the microstates of Europe are getting jealous of little ol’ Monaco getting all the attention. So, they’ve gotten together and, with the blessing of Liberty Media, have decided to create a new European Grand Prix.

Your task is to create a new street circuit, similar to Monaco, within the microstate of Liechtenstein. Some rules:
1) The entire circuit must remain within the principality and not enter Switzerland or Austria in any way.
2) Most of the roads are quite narrow, so ignore this. Monaco doesn’t seem to have a problem with it anyways. As long as you have around 8-12 meters width, you’ll be fine.
3) Don’t worry about finding a pit lane / paddock. We’ll find a street market or a sidewalk bazaar to knock down for the weekend.
