Yes. I just kinda wish it was truly optional. It's a bit of work that I find utterly boring for liveries in club races. For any kind of championships, I can really see the use of it, making stuff extra super cool.
Oh well, just got to deal with it I guess

EDIT: Answer - there was an IMSA race at RIR in 1986, so it probably did.
