Top Car - An old mod I didnt wanted to left in a corner.

Okay first of all I have to say that this is an experimental mod I started a long ago, so the models, the shaders and the textures could be a LOT better than it is. Time passed and I started to work on other projects, I learned to do it the right way but now I'm so time bussy that and this became kind of abandoned on a corner and couldnt improve it the way I wanted, still, it has soul, and specially for people in south america this could be interesting.

Okay, with a little digging and help from the GT-Planet community I found out that this was indeed a real series;
The TopRace V6 championship is a silhouette spec-chassis touring car series in Argentina that first ran in 1997, with teams using a 3-litre V6 engine manufactured by Berta.

For people who aren't familiar with the Latin American racing scene beyond the categories featured in the AMS games, it might be worth adding this bit of context to the championship.

The #19 Cruze and the #83 Merc are two actual championship skins; the Axion Energy Camry is based on a real TopRace livery as well but it's missing the racing number.

Since these cars are powered by a V6 engine, I'd recommend a V6 soundbank to complement this car. I recommend @ACFAN's soundbank for the URD Ford GTE (Detroit EGT); while it is a little bit low-pitched compared to the actual Top Race exhaust note, it's close enough to sound convincing until someone creates their own soundbank specifically for these cars.

yes but, it will be updated with other things when the time comes, it does not paybak to do an update with just one fix. But stay on touch for next updates. Right Now im working on the spec racer update.

I've downloaded the awesome looking cars but when I try to do a race with them it boots me back into the menu? I have probably made a mistake somewhere but any idea what could be causing this?

Okay; as someone with zero experience in making custom sound-banks for Assetto Corsa, would the samples from this playlist be useful in any capacity for creating a soundbank for these cars?

It uses the soundbank from the Kunos Maserati Gran Turismo MC GT4; so unless you replace the sound effects with another sound-bank, like the Ford GTE Soundbank I mentioned earlier in this forum, you will need to own the Red Pack DLC for Assetto Corsa.
