Just had a quick go with the mr2 round suzuka got a dirty mid 2.19 I know there's more time and the setup needs sorting. Ash was doing similar times in a DB9. The mr2 starts out in c class at just under 400 pi.
If its ok I was hoping that either me or ash could run it at the test event, see how it goes.

Thats around the same pace im doing mate, my only thought is the idea of this cup is cars that start life out as A class or just below to limit the upgrades

I'll run it in the test event if I can make, if you want to test it?

It is insanely light and absolutely flies off compared to the DB9, but top speed seems slightly lower from my brief run with it. Felt like a massive difference in grip too, but the pace seems about the same overall.

Please post and videos and explainations in this thread

If any drivers feel another driver has broken the official RD rules and this directly affected you finishing postition/race pace then you must first make a short video, post it in this thread and the 3 'Stewards' will investigate further.
Several videos may be better as then we can have different angles from the incident!

First of all sorry for crashing into the spun out driver at the test event.
I feel really bad about it. :(
Did happen fast.Someone was passing me on the right and I didn't want to hinder him so looked right.
To be sure he could pass me as he was faster than me.
But the moment I looked in front of me there was only a cloud of smoke and bang there I went.
Screwing someone's race. :(
To top it all of I was a snail compared to the rest of the pack.
But well doesn't surprise me as I only fitted powerparts and didn't tune.
Because there I'm totally clueless what I need to do.
One thing I did change afterwards was my tirepresure as I know that from real-life what those effects are.
That allowed me to lap a bit faster.
But the rest is a mystery.
So I'll definitly get into the race tomorrow.
But if I'm that much behind I gonna try to find a bit more info on tuning setups.
If I can't figure it out it's possible I'll withdraw from the championship.
As I don't want to be a hinder on the track to the other racers when I'm that slow.

Ah, don't worry mate, it was me on the inside and it was ash you crashed into, I've spoke to ash and he accepts that there was nothing anyone could have done, if you spin out you have your fingers crossed that you don't get hit. I'm in no way an expert but I've been tuning my car for tomorrows race and have improved it. The info text by the side of each setting in forza is a good start. Just drive the car for a few laps but not going for times as such, just get a feeling for how it's handling, I.e understreer/oversteer and if that's on corner entry, or mid courner. And firstly adjust your setup so tyres get up to the right temp and that the heat is even across the tyre. To do this to get 90% of the way there adjust tyre pressure and camber.

That's what I do anyway, like I said, I'm no pro but this seems to deliver reasonable lap times. My car was not setup for the race tonight but hopefully I'll be a bit quicker tomorrow.
