LAST GASP ANCEVSKI

Milos Ancevski took victory on the last lap, after a rare Kederer mistake
Tobi Kederer and Milos Ancevski were both battling for the Pole Position trophy, so it made sense that they would lock out the front row. Ancevski made a small mistake at Pinherinho on his lap, and lost out on the prize by a few thousandths of a second. However, he still had the Fastest Lap Trophy in reach. Kederer lead the race from the start, and still held the lead after the pitstops, but Ancevski was always on his tail. Dropping back, Ancevski preserved his tyres and got some clean air. He started pumping in fastest laps, which Kederer was unable to respond to. With the Serb right on his tail, Kederer had a lapse of concentration going into Junção and ran wide, letting Ancevski through. The Serb crossed the line to take his second victory and the Fastest Lap Trophy. Aidan Keranen finished off a season that could have been by taking third place in Brazil, just holding off Ancevski in the points too. Old Wolf will be carrying some great momentum into next season after a great 4th place to add to his second last time out. Xen Foro took 5th ahead of Ben Utzer (who was denied the Fastest Lap Trophy), Joel Rautavaara (Who leapfrogged Josh Noack in the standings), Omer Said (Who turned his season around from a backmarker to 9th place), Rami Saidy (Last of the drivers with more than 200 points) and Andy Black (6th in the championship means he is the highest driver not to record a win). Lesley Buurlage took 11th place, unconfirmed reports seem to suggest he will be partnering champion Tobi Kederer next season. Manolis Sigoulakis hoped to bow out of Forum Racing with a great result, but a lacklustre 12th place is an unfair way for the Season 19 champion to end his career (for the moment ;)). Ben Herbert, Andrea Dovizioso and Steven Poirier rounded out the points, as we dropped to a record low of 15 finishers in this season. James Chant (Who finishes the season as the driver with a win with the fewest points), Homeboy Pablo Diehl and Alexander Macdonald all failed to cross the line.

Well, that's it. The Season is over. Thanks for some great races, great rivalries, good laughs and some great cars. There's been controversy both on and off the track, drivers coming, going and sometimes just not even turning up. Hopefully Season 23 will be even better, as Tobi Kederer heads in as defending champion.

@miki2000milos Win number 2 has to be sweet. Did you expect Tobi to make a mistake like that?
@kedy89, a pretty dominant season for you. Any word on your team for next season?
@Manolis Sigoulakis, good luck in your escapades away from the track, and we hope to see you back at some point!
For everyone else: How did the season go, and how do you think next season will go.
