BUURLAGE DOUBLES UP
JapanPodium.jpg

Lesley Buurlage made it two in a row, as the podium was made up of the same people
Lesley Buurlage recorded his fourth win of the season to almost seal second place in the drivers championship. His teammate Omer Said came home 7th, but second place for Tobi Kederer was enough to seal the constructors championship for his Benetton team. Third for Milos Ancevski has moved the Serbian 3 points behind third placed Aidan Keranen, who finished 6th. Xen Foro returned to form with a 4th place, while Ben Herbert showed he still has it with a well deserved 5th. Genii got a double top 10 finish (only just), while the BMW's, Saidy, Rautavaara and Macdonald had slow pace. Further back, Ben Utzer had an interesting race after his OMR blew up with 5 laps to go. Rather than retiring, the German got out, used his feet to break the car so he could get to the transponder and pull it out. Following this, he proceeded to run the rest of the circuit, and crossed the line on foot. He was allowed to keep his position, but the cars are being forced to go through a crash test again. Josh Noack had a collision with Pablo Diehl near the end, Noack just managed to cross the line to reach classification distance. However, we had an empty garage. Jaguar had some freight problems, and the cars for Steven Poirier never turned up, not allowing him to race in Japan.

Next Time:
The Etihad Emirati Grand Prix

Official RDFIA Conference
@kedy89, @DarkElf12 - Constructors Champions with only 3 rounds to go, did you expect it to come earlier, or are you just happy you've got it?
Happy we've got it I'd say. Josh had some troubles in the recent races, so it was important that we didn't lose too much of our gap. Now on to the final two races of the season, no more pressure, just enjoying them and get the best out of it.

Well with the way tobi was going early on in the season the constructors looked easy. Unfortunately I haven't been able to back up my early success but the happens

Sprint Race
Well, here it is, the final sprint race of a great season. Tobi Kederer has won the Drivers Championship, and with the help of Josh Noack, the Constructors Championship. The Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi hosts the race, in the inaugural Emirati Grand Prix. Yes, rather than naming it after the specific Emirate, I'm doing the proper thing and naming the Grand Prix after the country it's in. Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is like saying "English Grand Prix", "Texas Grand Prix" or "Victoria Grand Prix". It's annoyed me ever since 2009, so now I have a chance to influence it. <rant over> Anyway, if you want me to stop ranting so you can get on with racing, just say Yas.
The Etihad Emirati Grand Prix is GOGOGO!
